@@etinarcadiaego7424 Imagine being a Guardsman during the crusade era stationed alongside the Nightlords. Someone in your unit brought contraband into the barrack and the commissar made everyone mop the floor. But the Nightlords captain declared that the commissar has failed in his duty to discipline the unit for failing to prevent people sneaking contraband in the first place and as such would be replaced. "The commissar discipline measure was inadequate and he's responsible for the failing discipline of the unit." as the Nightlords captain said. Next morning as your unit is waiting for inspection you saw a massive figure walking up to your unit. As he gets closer you realize that the Nightlords captain wearing a bloody commissar leather jacket partially patched with still fresh human skin to accommodate his superhuman build and a commissar military cap and he declared he's the substitute commissar until a new commissar arrived and he'll discipline your unit properly.
He may be incedibly stubburn, but Rogal Dorn is inherently honest, reliable and he will never betray you. This is the kind of ally you need at your side.
People doubt Dorns combat ability, why? His second in command was freaking Sigismund, and he bested two fellow primarchs in combat. He's one of the indomitable few for a reason, imo second only to Sanguinious in the tier list of loyalists primarchs.
I'm surprised this doesn't mention Dorn's battle against Alpharius (or Omegon) in which Alpharius was killed. This made Dorn the only loyalist primarch to kill one of his brothers, so a pretty significant event. Other than that, it's a great video and I'm enjoying the series.
He killed Omegon who was pretending to be Alpaharius. BUT Alpaharius had been pretending to be Omegon all along so he Actually killed the real Alpaharius. So now Omegon calls himself Alpaharius. But they all call themselves Alpaharius so you never know who the real Alpaharius is.
@@CSSVirginia A space wolf also killed Alpharius Then a Lucifer black almost killed Alpharius Then Dorn killed Alpharius Then Guilliman killed Alpharius Alpharius
I am the shield that guards the Imperium.. the fist that strikes the heretic.. the phalanx that strikes hard at the heart of Chaos.. Standing defiant until the end.. like a true son of the Praetorian...
The pain glove was detailed in one of the earliest 40K novels, Space Marine, by Ian Watson. The phalanx, the pain glove, recruiting from Necromunda, and scrimshawing the Primarch's bones are all part of the earliest lore available, dating back to Rogue Trader (1st edition)
People say they don't know where Dorn is, but I know where he is. He is prowling the Galaxy as everyone's favorite shark Boi, Tyberos the Red Wake. Which should obviously be taken as a joke. However imagine how crazy that would be for Dorn to go from the bastion builder to a crazy ass melee murder machine.
It’s really cool to really think how different Dorn and Gulliman are. Most people lump them togethas the vanilla primarchs where dorn was the more boring nothing could be further from the truth and should speak volumes of how more dedicated Dorn was to the imperium than Gulliman. Where Bobby G had two fathers mentally splitting himself was he a son of Macragg or Terra where as Dorn only had one father his true father he may have been born on Inuit but he is a son of Terra through and through. Both brothers were emperors in their own right but Dorn willing gave up his empire up and joined his father enthusiastically he believed in the emperors vision 100%.Where as G man was apprehensive at first only joining die to logical reasons and did not relinquish his rule over the 500 worlds always be one foot and one foot out. Where as Gulliman was more concerned with consolidation Dorn and the imperial fists were the symbol of the Great crusade they embodies what the emperor wanted for humanity bravely venturing into the dark unknowing spreading the emperors light. When the Horus heresy broke out Dorns priorities where clear the fortification of Terra and simultaneously taking the fight to the traitors he would not relinquish a inch of ground without a fight even if it meant he would fight alone which was the bulk of the heresy. Where as Gulliman assumed Terra had already fallen ( showing a complete disregard and underestimation of Dorns abilities) and spend the bulk of the heresy playing into Horus hands but staying in Ultramaar consolidating his position and gathering up the shatters legions frankly doing nothing that would not actually help the wider imperium. You could so Gulliman didn’t know what was happening and the ruin storm made warp travel difficult yes that the logical answer but in the Horus heresy logic is barely a factor as Dorn said to Fulgrim my deeds are my words. What are Gullimans deeds nothing never tried to probe the storm map out pathways through it or send reinforcements to the loyalists on the other side. He was already resigned to the idea the imperium had fallen and the emperor was dead now he was just waiting for Horus to come for him. In the long term it’s Gullimans fault the imperium is in this state it was his reforms after the heresy that made the admisnitratum more bloated and than it was it was structured in a way under the assumption that Gulliman would be there to oversea everything being the god ter administrator It was Gullimans mindset of Consolidation that turned the imperium away from the values of the great crusade with the imperium of 40k more concerned with holding on to what they have rather than going out braving the void. It was Dorn who staying true to his fathers vision that wished to see the crusade continue that’s why the modern imperial fists and black templars are out there they know the truth ,the heresy was not the end of the great crusade mearly a pause the crusade was incomplete it never ended.

Just recently stumbled across your wonderful channel. Really enjoying it so far. Look forward to seeing more of the slightly longer vids. 10+ minutes. Keep it up!!!
Thank you for the sacrifice I sacrificed my eyes long ago I've been waiting for someone else to take a watch a busy farewell he will be waiting long for your engraved personal chain sword it will be coming in the mail do not worry the chariots of fire that bring the ponies across the night heavens never failed to arrive but they do arrive when they arrive so steadfast with his eyes my friend thank you for my rest
"even unarmed a warrior imbued with these qualities will find victory" Yeah send a wheelchair bound human child with a pure soul to fight a a space marine and tell me that.
i wonder if they will tell the stories of the traitors eventually? don't get me wrong i am a loyalist through and through... but it is often interesting to hear both sides of the story
@@TheRemembrancer To hear of the tragic fall of our Brother Legions is to remember that of our failure of standing with them when they truly needed us the most... Emperor Damn Erebus and his cursed ties to Chaos...
In last wall book I think it was, Kharn nearly kills Sigismund. It makes Sigismund realise how powerful the Chaos powers are. And I think it's part of him becoming the religious zealot that founds the Black Templars.
@@bxmully What? I think you've got it the other way round?? Kharn fucks up Sigismund in the Last Wall right? To the point where Sigismund admits to himself that he has no chance at beating the Chaos empowered Berserkers? Or is this a different fight in a later book? Because I'm expecting Sigismund to take a rematch, using the "power of faith" to match Kharns power level.
@@Michaentus Totally wrong. Page 415 of The First Wall. After literally jumping over a Breacher shield wall, decapitating two Imperial Fists mid air. Kharn runs straight for Sigismund. Sigismund commands his plasma gunner too shoot at the traitor forces behind Kharn. And declares he will take out Abbadons right hand man once he's finished with Kharn. "In that moment Sigismund understood Keelers words amd knew that he was beaten. As legionaries there were none among the traitors that could match him. The Legions greatest had always been his inferiors. Corswain of the Dark Angels. Jubal of the White Scars. Kharn of the World Eaters. Sevetar of the Night Lords. Lucius of the Emperors Children. Abbadon of the Luna Wolves. But as he lookat the warped figure that had once been his sword companion, he knew he no longer fought legionaries. He had to be more too. He had to draw strength from a power beyond himself. The Emperor" Sigismund is only saved by the timely arrival of big daddy Dorn himself.
Rogal dorn remind me of my aunt, she is not the most beautiful, or the smartest, heck, not even the naughtiest, she is the middle child, plenty of older, and younger siblings However she is extremely reliable
Dorn the wimp, only Primarch killed by normal enemies. While for Konrad being assasinated was sort of justice and suicide Dorn was actually bested and torn to shreds by some normies. Also he was dumb and injust when he tried to kill Garro for speaking the truth. For me Dorn is the most overrated Primarch ever.
