Our evolution into materialism has reduced our general capacity to experience this reality, but people of the past didn’t have this problem, which is they didn’t need any ‘proof’ of God’s existence, just as they needed no proof that the sky was blue. It’s still possible to experience spirit today however. Refusing to entertain the notion of spirit, while you speak to people who have experienced it, would be like saying to an early discoverer of radio waves that he’s mistaken - if you can’t see the EM wave as visible light then it doesn’t exist. If you entertain the above concept of reality as a basis upon which to search for the truth, you’ll no doubt find it fairly quickly.

Our evolution into materialism has blinded many to the fact that matter is a condensation of spirit, like liquid water to water vapour - a small slice of reality, that our physical bodies are adapted to experience, and our physical brains are adapted to understand. Denying this to someone who experiences it would be like denying radio waves to an early discoverer - only visible light exists because it’s all I’ve seen. Your search for truth will go further if you intellectualise with your brain less and open your heart to this concept of reality.
