I've already shed a tear realizing it's over. No more heart attack moments, no more allez Roger on slam Sundays and no more I hate you Roger for missing that easy shot. 😭 It's officially the end of our childhood. But the most overwhelming feeling I have is that of immense gratitude. I'm lucky enough to have started following his career from 2004 and saw the glory days, the dark days and the resurrection. People who have been brought into tennis after 2010 will have no idea how scary good Roger was at his peak. It's hard to fathom unless you're seeing him weave his magic live. His legacy can not be matched, ever, by anyone. Tennis will be forever indebted to this great man and I can't imagine how many millions will now tune out of the sport after his departure. He made people fall in love with the sport, inspired millions of kids to take up a racquet and try to swing one on the court, and always upheld the integrity of the sport. To me, that's his ultimate gift to the world and the game. Au Revoir, Roger! C'était un honneur.
So true...I am also one of them to say goodbye to tennis.Firstever tennis match I saw was Roger Ist round match at wimbledon 2003 and I immediately fell in love with his game but now I have no attraction anymore to watch tennis.
Nice Teaser! (Yes, I hope you know we are all waiting for the 1hour+ tribute my friend ;-) - take your time for that one). I hope everyone who watches this video realizes how perfectly synced the scenes were with the lyrics! Really nice touch 🙂
It probably won't be an 1 hour video, it wil take me years to make it tho but yeah I will give my best to make something very unique. And thanks for noticing it man ;D
Literally saw my entire childhood flash before me. This mix of 90s pop vocals with Roger's smile really got me 😭. Thinking about all the highs and lows and all the emotions he evoked for me. It's been a pleasure to travel with you on this ride Roger. There never will be another like you. #RForever
😢 I wasn’t prepared for this… It feels so unusual to me when people start to talk about Roger in past tense, that he was a great player etc. He would never be a thing of the past to me. I have looked up to him all throughout my life. He has inspired millions of us. He will remain in our hearts forever. I look forward to Roger’s future ventures and I wish him the best. Buy I cannot imagine tennis without him 😢😭 I was hoping that he will come back one last time and play for another year, at least… I’m devastated…
nobody was prepared mate !!! it hurts so bad, i don' t want to exagerate but for people like you, like me and others passionate of tennis and sport in general, and also for people who can link tennis with life in general, it is.... i have no words... Let' s keep enjoying what he left us and let' s think at next friday for laver cup. bye !
This is what happens when you fall in love with someone and Roger is not just someone he is THE ONE !! Difficult to handle at the moment and i never thought it would be this bad these last few days...Roger touched our lives like no other sportsman xxxx
It will be incredibly difficult for all of us, especially for Fed to hold back tears during the Laver Cup. What a ride it has been folks, we are nearing the end! Damn, who's cutting so many onions over here? 😭
Federer's style of play and classy behavior on and off the court will be remembered more than the Grand Slam titles. He has such a unique quality that no other player has been able to emulate. Glad Federer played for as long as he did!
Been divorced 25 years yet Roger has kept me sane a bit for 24 of those years...love you Roger xxx...I can't even say to someone anymore that if you haven't seen Roger play then you must but that's all finished now...im lucky i saw him play at Wimbledon and WILL never forget that very special day xxx
A lovely montage and tribute. It is a farewell to only one part of Roger’s tennis life. He is young, smart, and innovative, and best of all, he’s not leaving tennis. He will return in new ways and continue to amaze us all!
So lucky to have witnessed this greatness … what a special human 😊 lovely video where he shares smiles with his competitors … from the bygone eras … beautiful ❤
Great clip, Le! I will be waiting for your full last tribute... I know I'll cry again then. For me somehow, tennis will never be the same again without Roger. I never missed any of his matches in the last 20 years. I will miss like hell seeing him play, getting up in the middle of the night for some of his matches, in short, I will miss seeing him. When the announcement was made, I'm not ashamed to say I shed quite a few tears. The first thing I did after reading about his retirement, was to go and see your Last Hope tribute, especially that fantastic montage you did at the end. That got me going even more... Goodbye, Roger! I consider myself so lucky that I saw your whole beautiful career unfolding for more than half my life.
What a wonderful idea for a video! ❤ You're something else, LHP! 🙏 We'll be waiting now for that full-length documentary about the Fed! First the unofficial one...and then the official one. Though it might be best to wait until the Laver Cup is done before you release it.
Damn it's too much ! I can'et even see the video through tears, but I'm guessing it's great work as always We will mis him soo much Thank you Roger for all you brought to tennis and everything I learnt from you
What a journey it has been.... though we havent really met but the bond we have watching all your matches throughout your 24 yr career and your off court escapades, i felt ill be missing my best friend. You have been a part of my life, sharing the joy of your every historic victory and the pain of your heartbreaking defeats..... crying tears of joy and sadness.... THANK YOU FOR ALL THESE WONDERFUL MOMENTS THAT WILL FOREVER BE ETCHED IN MY MIND.... WE LOVE MR. peRFect ROGER FEDERER!!!
Forget watching Roger in slow motion, watching him normal time and still he makes the game look ridiculously unbelievably easy !! WTF !! How can this be possible !! Only Roger...thank you my man for everything The greatest in tennis ? No No No...The greatest in all sports in history? For sure an emphatic yes...there definitely will never be another no way no how no chance !!!!
This video or tribute is to the same level of greatness of Federer. You have made an extraordinary work , the music, the images.Make me feel sad thinking that he retiring .
Hey lehunterpro, just wanted to say, thanks for all the great highlights, I’ve been watching your videos for as long as I can remember and appreciate all the work you’ve put into all of them! Thanks for creating this tribute and I can’t wait to watch the next one!
A phenomenal video as usual. Really loved your videos for him and this felt like a perfect conclusion to the list of the fantastic videos you have made for Roger. Would love to see more in the future tho :"D
Nice video as always. It will be great if he win the final matches of his career - lift the trophy with Team Europe and celebrate with his greatest friends and rivals in his last dance It will be hard to hold up tears
Really nice. This one made me smile rather than cry, so well done. 👍 LHP, not sure what you're planning to do moving forward but your content is A+ and, if you decide it pack it in, I'll understand but miss it greatly all the same.
My friend. Increible video. I was wondering if i can use some of the clips to make my own tribute. Obviously giving you the credits you deserve in the description
Thanks man, I honestly thought everybody would know this music : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xovNNtZWhrg.html&ab_channel=Pok%C3%A9mon-Topic
Do you know how to recognize the GOAT, the Greatest Of All Times ? He inspires the ones playing after him and before him, even if they play better than him. He inspires the tennis world as well as the whole world because he leads the human kind to the right direction by his behaviour. He's the central point that makes his sport standing balanced and doing well, and by definition the center of anything is unique ... like the greatest is unique ... and his name is Roger Federer.
Roger Federer has often said over the years that what he can do well is to play with pain, with problems, and in all conditions. Find out what he will talk about? What is Roger Federer's biggest bondage? Learn from Roger Federer how to get from bondage to freedom of choice.
Great footage - can you tell me where 1:05 comes from?? It's right after I had my picture taken with Roger, Australian Open 2015, I'm just out of shot!
Its hard. I have tickets for Basel. God damn! I hoped he will step on court there once again. Im sad so fucking sad... but i knew this day will come. What can I say. Its hard
I heard he should make an appearance in Basel too, not for playing of course but you might see him if you're lucky : www.swissindoorsbasel.ch/de/turnier/turnier-news/artikel/2022-09-16_ZUM-KARRIERENENDE-VON-ROGER-FEDERER.php
