Rafa would have been so far in front of everyone else in Grand Slams if he hadn’t had so many injuries and lost so much court time. He is unequalled! True champion on and off court.
Rafa v Federer = a beautiful style match up to witness, grace vs brawn Fed v Djokovic = a great match up of grace and style vs machine like court coverage and ball strikes Rafa v Djokovic = Wars of attrition … In addition to all of his accomplishments in wins, Nadal taught Federer how to lose with grace and taught Djokovic how to fight. He was the biggest rival of two of the greatest players ever. What a sad day when he hangs them up for good, but god what a gift it has been to watch him/them compete for 20 years!
The thing that people need to understand is that there isn't just one GOAT in tennis the GOAT status is shared by 3 amazing players and none of the 3 would've been as great have it not been for the other. I'm just happy we all could live in a fantastic time to be a tennis fan, and I'm truly sad that it is starting to come to an end.
One day I will tell my grandkids this story - "Once there was a man who won 3 grand slams in the era of the Big 3 and his one-handed backhand was one of the most beautiful shots in Tennis ..."
The RG 2013 SF against Novak moment with the James Norman - Inferno track is absolutely a piece of art. The drama in the music and the turn of events in the match, marvellous work!! I keep coming back to this video again and again. Thank you!! <3
You always make the best tributes. Seeing how many players in this video are retired or aren't on court anymore, it is just astonishing that Rafa is only now saying goodbye. We've had so much of him for so very long, and we are so incredibly lucky. Vamos always ✨
Beautiful video, very nice idea. I'm also hoping you can do the rest of the top 5 Masters moments series. Monte Carlo and Madrid, also Rome. Since the clay season is by far the best in terms of Masters tournaments.
Thanks man, I would have love to continue this series but it didn't reached the sucess I hoped so I prefer to stop now unfortunately. Sorry to disappoint you guys but more of this will come instead.
The *don* of tennis documentaries. Thanks for this, Le Hunter. By the way - when's your full-length feature film/documentary of Fed's career coming out? 😀
You're welcome, I'm working on this currently so no film about the career but a big one will appear in a couple of months. twitter.com/lehunterpro/status/1667217250284175360
