Seems like Roger only has fond memories of Nick, Syd, and sometimes Rick. You can tell there was always a tension between Roger and David even when the entire band was getting along

I just read Nicks book, he talks about how the band at dinner used to get into such rows that any executives refused to eat with them for fear they'd be blamed for the band breaking up. Nick says they all had the same sense of humour which was needling people until they left. They had a guy who was maybe a producer, I forget (ok I didn't pay attention to all the details), but he showed up for dinner saying that he was in such a good mood that nothing could bother him. And Nick says within seven minutes he was fuming from the room. Roger had mentioned that maybe they should be talking about lowering his commission on the album. So thats their sense of humour. Which almost makes this modern stuff going on 'in public' seem like it might just be a big joke to them.

Unfortunately after that incident he can't smell anything anymore.

Roger picked me up hitchhiking 47 yrs. ago spring of 74!(funny story) He was personable, down to earth, funny, and friendly! I don't think either of us realized at the time, the incredible impact Dark Side would have on music, or the world!!!
