You are correct in what was wrong with Ludvigsson's bike. The reason he didn't react at the start, was that he thought it was his back wheel that spun against the ground. He thought the wheel was on top of some debris. Swedish commentator timed the problems, and estimated Ludvigsson would have finished in second to fourth place without them.

damn was just checking your channel for the recap. I get bummed out cause it wasn't there. Go back to the youtube main page and lo and behold. Appreciate the coverage and highlights even though I watched quite a bit of it already, this is always entertaining and interesting to learn a little bit more about the deeper aspects of cycling then just "man on bike pedals hard".

Thanks for the recap! I'm thinking Carapaz considers himself leader after Olympics, Bernal thinks he can win, and Yates has been focused on this all season. Carapaz might have the edge on the team after the Olympics, but you can't rule the other two out. Does the team even know? Guess we will see as the race progresses. Rog's interviews are less stilted more recently. Still quintessentially Roglic. Love his interviews. And Aranburu is a new fav. Ty!

American here - I love Sepp but I have no illusions about his role. He does not seem cut out for GC leader and he won't be let off the leash for KOM. He is a super domestique in the mountains - and that's about it. Oh yeah, he is a real good guy and apparently and very good teammate, too.

Well the temp dropped 5-8 Celsius and there was noticeably more shade so I would wager later was better Also it’s a TT later is almost always better regardless
