Thanks for making the video from my Reddit suggestion! I like your build for the Magnaguard protector in particular. I'm wary of the IndyCalc mod on this ship because of the stress cost for the second calculate, though; it's as costly to double-calculate on one of these droids as it would be for a living pilot to focus+boost. Maybe it just needs used carefully though, like on the turn you want to launch Discords.
Oh yeah, I'm most used to IndyCalc on parked Vultures, who couldn't care less about the Stress. For these guys, yeah, it would really depend on calling which turn(s) you want to do it in. If you're expecting to take R3 shots, or want to drop the Discords. You're absolutely welcome too, I appreciate the comment on what you wanted to see!
It's a combination of things, but the single biggest reason is that after the last points update overall squad sizes went from 3-4 ships to 4-6 ships, where all of them have better stats than Vultures, and at least one of them (Han with Bistan Gunner) can take out two vultures per turn. Vultures' biggest strength was you could bring 8-ship lists with at least one beefier ship, but now they don't outnumber opponents as much so they struggle to have the same impact. 2-3 still certainly have a place in a list, but they're much harder to justify - even more so because a number of other Separatist chasses got cheaper too - and their classic swarm lists struggle in most matchups.
