Mike Dowd was a piece of shit, no doubt about it but every time I hear him speak in videos like this, I can't help but find him likeable. I like his candid demeanour. There's no bullshit. He just tells it like it is and he seems like he can be a nice guy who would be fun to spend time with. Bit of an enigma.
Mike is an addict!! He found out while he was a cop! He was addicted to alcohol , coke and mostly the power of the badge💯 I'm sure it still goes on! Cops don't tell on Cops!! They made a movie about this before Dowd was a cop!! Serpico wasn't just an awesome movie , it was based on a real story!! Tell on a cop and you aren't safe. I think every police department should have mandatory tests weekly!! I had a cop friend in 87 ( no longer a cop) that smoked weed and would do coke if I offered it to him. Cops are people like you and me. It's a taxing job on the conscience as many turn to drinking. Probably guilt about lying and ruining lives by doing so!! Things are different now! A cop arresting another is common now! Cameras are a must!

I'm from NYC. This guy framed innocent people for serious crimes due to evil policing. People spent upwards of 20 years in prison before being exonerated. There's absolutely no side of his to take nor understand.
