My rogue hits for 40, 40, 60 with a basic vendor castillion (20 damage dagger) and with rupture and poison dagger it one hits anyone not in platemail tho

@@thenomadatlas267 that's cap, just tested rogue does 26 basic damage with the vendor castillion

I just ran a 4 hour session grinding, I came out with a Build where I was smacking 87s out of stealth and my 3rd hit was smacking 113.

Use throwing knives and add rupture a few times then go in on them and u will in the fight

The reach plus it’s almost dagger levels of atk speed, the move speed penalty isn’t even noticeable honestly

in terms of PVP without having your two friends under the table or if your solo you can outrun everyone but I would love to be able to actually do something against teams

Keep a 4-5 player distance, strafe in and out clockwise, easy kills. Crossbow skellies are sometimes made to hit you no matter what

I am new and also thought the same as Chris because when I equip joker my stats don't change, but say I swap joker for Thrust the armour Penetration goes from 0 to 15% or another example is Shadow runner, the move speed stat goes up.. but I don't see any stat increase with joker.

weakpoint works great with ambush. you immediately get +100% weapon damage right away as a burst attack, allowing straight away ambush damage to quickly kill someone out of stealth unaware of you, rather then a more lengthy fight with rupture. This burst build catches people off guard and does massive damage ESPECIALLY if you're geared. If your very well geared, you could even 2 shot a barbarian. Going rupture instead of weakpoint anywhere outside of goblin cave, puts you at a disadvantage if you run into a smart team, especially one with a cleric, your guaranteed to lose that fight even if you ambush someone, because your not bursting them down fast enough before everyone can respond to your threat. Unless your running all blues an purples at the least, go weakpoint. And even then, especially, go weak point, for instant 2 taps.

@@jbar6869 thank you, I also use back attack but might switch that out if it’s not worth it, but ambush and back attack seems to shred when attacking straight out of invisibility

hes playing solo lol every class has to be a rat if theyre solo in the map with 3man teams, rogue just has the best kit for it ( and pays for it by being very one-shottable)

@@metalcobra yea thats obvious but the problem is how they're designed to play like a rat. in goblin caves which is supposed to be solo only its impossible. if you go high level gear, a naked rogue with a blue dagger can insta kill you before you know it. its hard to hit, hard to chase, and extremely hard to kill. although they are 2 or three shot its very hard to hit a headshot on a jumping, fast, and evasive target. since i main cleric, judgement is my best tool against them but its so impossible to punish their attacks. if they hit, i dodge back and hit back but unlike any other class, they are actually able to back away far enough. you are forced to tank a hit in order to hit them. even if you tank a hit its still not easy to hit them considering they can jump over you and use their surroundings to their advantage.
