Gambit in episode 5: "The cards are always on my favor" Rogue in episode 10: "the cards are always on the X-Men´s favor" both lines were said before giving the iconic more obvious one
I'm glad that rogue let go all her angry and grief to one person responsible for death and destruction, especially she say that iconic line for gambit. 0:47
I think the reason she joined Magneto willingly was the fact that Rogue had some much rage, regret and sorrow, and no one to direct any of it to, so she thought to focus it on humanity as a whole, but when Bastion showed up, knowing that he was the one responsible for Gambit's death, she snaps out of her blind rage against humanity and knew who truly deserves her full wrath.
@@goddessrick8734oh get over it. You know that shit was complicated, thank God remi has some sense and decorum and doesn't whine like half the guys do about it. It sucks, but it is what it is.
@@goddessrick8734 i’d say after she left him and obviously thought about what Remy said and rejected Magneto. You know, before remy was taken away from her with his sacrifice? Where she held his dead body and reaffirmed it was him that she loved all along
@@yezerjimenezsoriano9753 Bro, the term babyface & heel doesn't have to be specifically used for wrestling beside wouldn't sound as cool if I used the term good & evil
02:01 I liked that Sunspot got his 5 minutes in the spotlight. It's a shame he wasn't shown doing more, but I still enjoyed seeing the carioca helping Rogue against Bastion.
Rouge feels guilty and angry at herself for hurting Gambit. Gambit died thinking that Rouge wanted to be with Magneto instead of him. Rouge never got the chance to tell Gambit that she loved him and wanted to be with him instead. Rouge is definitely going to be emotional when she face Gambit as the horseman of death.
That’s the same as, if he was Jewish, saying “Is nobody going to talk about about how Nightcrawler is wearing a yarmulke?”. His Catholicism is a huge part of his character especially the irony of him being a Catholic despite looking like he came crawling straight out of the depths of Hell.
@@christopherbyrdakaSuperman Rogue made the mistake of having caught the Archangel's Evil when he was Death, and this Evil Made Carol Danvers' Persona Emerge in that episode .
The tears falling as Rogue was flying and beating up Bastion is pure art 🤌. Little details like that makes this show amazing. The head butt and thunder clap was icing on the cake. Pun intended 😉
@@partogihutapea8632 Dude, it was clear Magneto got in her head & manipulated her to do break them up and not to mention when she was at the dance with Magneto, it was clear that she was pretending to be in love with Magneto to just please the Genosha consul.
I saw a clip of the fight before I saw the episode, so I was expecting Bastion to deliver some line about 'That wannabe hero who killed himself on Genosha just to delay the inevitable.' or something like that before Rogue charged at him.
THE MOTHERF**KING TANK THAT SHE IS!!! thank GOD for this show and it's incredible portrayal of rogue!! if the mcu version isn't this bad*ss, we don't want it
Captain America is physically a peak-maximum human and then pushed just so slightly beyond that. Rogue is arguably a stronger fighter than the Hulk. There is no contest.
@@azurerider812 There's an inhabitable "blue spot" on the Moon in the Marvel universe, it's one of the places the Inhumans live. It looks like Rouge smashed Bastion all the way to it
Even if Bastion did stop her assult I'm glad they gave Rogue a good clean 30 seconds of her BEATING the crap out of Bastion before he recovered. That felt so good I MISS GAMBIT
Congrats Rogue *you finally found THE PROPER TARGET TO VENT YOUR ANGER ON!!! Now if only there was something we could to to stop the EVENTUAL WAR WITH THE AVENGERS YOU STARTED!!!*
Bring it on. We're getting death wolverine and pestilence gambit. We're getting onslaught, heroes sacrifice heroes reborn heroes return. Be there or be square.
jean and storm were overwhelmed by sentinels, sinister and cable, tho. they thought then that jean defeated bastion but he caught them off guard. rogue was prepared, had only bastion to fight against and still was losing until roberto came to help.
Baeu Demayonnaise after getting Sunspot's blasts completely wrong and proceeding to only use them instead of his hulk-level strength. Not to mention the fire... But besides that, his name reveal and sheer size of his energy outburst WAS GETTING ME SO HYPE!!!!! LET'S GOOOOO
@@WorldofIntenseArtie Brother, I know. I literally said that Baeu got his blasts wrong, not that he didn't have that power His blasts in comics are concussive, like Cyclops'. He can shoot and emit heat, but 99% of the time they are blasts. However in the show they're fireballs for some reason, except in episode 4 and 8. No idea why those 2 showed him as beams of some sort (looked cool, still inaccurate) and then had them switched them to fireballs.
No. At one stage she fought Captain Marvel (then she was called Ms Marvel but you get the point) and held onto her for so long that she took on a few of Carol’s powers permanently, that’s why she can fly and has super strength and durability but she doesn’t have Carol’s energy based powers like photon blasts.
@@kazallrobertsYeah. In the cartoon, she's an X-Man and has the flying brick powers in the first episode and you only see the Brotherhood and Ms. Marvel stuff in a flashback, but in the comics, she was actually a recurring enemy for a while before a toyline tie-in character (Rom, Space Knight) started her down the track toward joining the X-Men.
Funny how the mutant dampener was never offered to rogue, so the legion can be messy, and showing clear incompetence by stopping the prime jan 6 sentinels (bastion isn't a mutant, but I just read the wiki in case an onscreen modification was made) and the thought of reactivating the prime jan 6 sentinels upon bastion's upgrade. Fester in filth
There are always some jealous haters who are not from the marvel universe always trying to stir up some drama by saying some negative bullshit but that just shows you how weak there brand is and how pathethic they are as fanboys ,never let anyone steal your joy just because what they like sucks and they are unhappy and uncreative .
@@kazallroberts not really. They left for what they felt were the right reasons and came back because they needed to join forces to stop Bastion and the asteroid. It was not a ruse
