I honestly don't think she understands the difference between a warrant and a warrant card. Who ever you work for, there are always people you wonder how they reached their position. I feel the Inspector might be one of them.
The woman Inspector is proof that you don’t require any common sense or even a basic knowledge of the law to get promotion in the police. Hopefully the Inspector will watch this video and learn from the younger uniformed PCs how to deal with a person with a camera.
All the police learn is the "cos I said so" law, --that's all encompassing, us plebs are clueless and never learn the real law, so we're easily hoodwinked. Yeah----- I'm kidding.😅
Boy she didn’t like it when you said that part of the video was to see if they demanded you to identify when you don’t have to. Her entire demeanor changed. She got a really sour look on her face once you said that and couldn’t leave fast enough. To me that meant she knew she was in the wrong and didn’t like that she’d been caught overstepping. But the damage had already been done so her only recourse was to get out as quickly as possible.
Goodness sakes, she's a bit of a nutty lady. You would think by now they would know whats legal or not. Thanks Curtis for educating them on our behalf 😂
Good Lord. How surprising . A high ranking officer not knowing something about photography and the law. Not like there's ever been a memo stating clearly what's legal about it! Good thing that she didn't come across as demanding and condescending. I'm assuming the Inspector also phoned in to send that Sergeant out. Sergeant needs to stop with the copsplaing and paranoia!
I love when you people make shit up in your head and then share it with others and it makes yall look ridiculous. But that's OK I don't blame you completely, all followers of frauditors are mental, I don't discriminate people with mental issues
I hate it when they do that. Stands there spouting off a load of crap. Get uniform to come out and then disappears and doesn't want to learn and hear the law
There's hope for anyone throwing hamburgers at McDonalds to become an inspector of Police overnight! No knowledge required of current British laws, no dress code, and no communication skills required either! A great deal of personal paranoia IS necessary however!!
Everyone keeps going on about car registrations. When I was a kid my mates and me stood at the end of the street collecting car registrations as did many kids up and down the country like train spotters do. Whats the paranoia for f sake regarding this prob. Totally ridiculous
If you've wronged multiple people you live in fear of retribution. Corrupt cowardly people are attracted to positions of authority. The officer safety cult is cowardice itself.
@@tonyb1223 Thank you for reply I'm now 74. Yet there are cameras everywhere. If you feel that way then what about dashcams do we ban them . Your reply whilst I appreciate it is nonsensical. We are photographed and filmed everywhere. What I suggest is you go to everyone with a dascam and tell them to turn it off. Then take another few months and go and tell every city to turn off their cctv cameras.
@@tonyb1223You like to pontificate. As you say it's not illegal, so that sums it up. What actual information can the general public Garner from a mere public registered number plate? MOT status, taxed and insured. That's it. Unless you go through the time consuming of filling in a DVLA form. V 888 I think it is, for a fee and for a very good reason? As for CCTV etc, they move as well you know, yes they are subject to GDPR/ DPA, regulations, however, generally someone is operating them in a control room, in a town centre for example. I have firsthand evidence of a control room. The operators, especially at night, were zooming in on young ladies, let's say on a Saturday night. Then when the pubs and clubs empty, things happen up a back alley or in some cases in full view on the street. These pictures or videos end up somewhere. Shared on the internet. These cameras are not for our safety, that's what you are told and you believe it. If it was, why would they install microphones to watch and listen to us, when out and about? Then throw in facial recognition, what's safe about that?
@@stevieclemo5999 God bless you Sincere Soul 👍🍀👏🍀🌼🍀☀️🍀Thnks very much sincerely for your insights enlightenment Sorry I didn't know he were still barred from there,,,I thought he were back in the nmed area about month back filming?or is it he's been barred a second time since previous time?
Doff my cap to the 1st 2 uniforms. To be fair, the others weren't too bad. The Inspector is like fagan out of Oliver Twist, send the kids out to do her work, still barking orders and drives of as you walk closer 👍
Getting quite embarrassing now, police giving silly instructions to law abiding citizens whilst trying to maintain some sort of superiority and self entitlement.
Good god she's an Inspector!!!? Her daddy has to be the Chief Constable???? ... totally clueless on the law and consequently a serious danger to the law abiding public ....
The questions are - Can the public be in a public space? Can this same citizen take pictures/ video from that space? If there's no law being violated, what authority do they have?
The higher up they go the less they know about law and human rights, makes me wonder how they get in to these positions. And can't even say the word reconnosence, absolute waste of money and skin.
Not just the Inspector that's a muppet. The clown in the High vis vest at the end telling you that you shouldn't be filming through the windows as there is a lot of confidential information in there. So what? If it is confidential then it is up to the people inside to keep it so by closing the blinds, turning the computer screen away and making sure paperwork with confidential information is not lying about where it can be see. Have the Police never heard of GDPR? Mind you with supervision and leadership like that Inspector it us little wonder they don't know what they are doing.
@@tonyb1223So if I walk past the window, look in, see the names etc of let's say suspects and their alleged crimes, and have a photographic memory, am I responsible for seeing it? I'm 100% sure the custodian of confidential information is responsible for it's confidentialality.
Yes the onus is on them to protect data from the public eye by not leaving it on show . Instead they breach the data protection act by knowingly leaking the data to a third party then blame the person they leaked it to for documenting the criminal act .
She seemed incredibly dense, the one smart thing she did though was scarpering to avoid any further embarrassment when the first words out of the uniformed officer were in effect that there was nothing wrong with what you were doing.
Nice audit, very interesting when the Sergeant inform you he may use common law to remove you. Therefore, in this video the police are acknowledging common law (enforcing) it will be very interesting when and a member of the public quotes common law to see if they acknowledge common law. 👍
She just didn't want to be shown on social media looking life she's just been diving around inside a skip whilst wearing clothes that a charity shop threw in the bin because it was disgusting. Is that really how an inspector presents herself? Very passive aggressive too.
I trained as a state trooper, and our training is over a year long PLUS having a baccalaureate degree. The majority of British police services require as their primary prerequisite just this: the ability to do what they are told.
Counter with "how do I know you are not going to murder, rape, assault etc me" there's plenty of names you can bring up if they say "I wouldn't do that, I'm police"
North West Audits calls this "Cop-Splaining", I call it “talking directive gibberish”. This needs to go to Professional Standards, she needs to go ASAP!
@@tonyb1223 These lot are not trained and go in 4 feet first. They appear to have no skill/training to escalate a problem to senior officers. This makes matters worse.
How can these police be so clueless and unaware of the legality of filming do they not understand police stations are public buildings funded by the public 🤬
Shocking behaviour from that first person: 'Who are you, what you doing, got any ID'. Her sort are so used to people cowering to them she was visibly shocked when you stood your ground. That wasn't enough though, had to go down the if, but's and maybe route to try and dig herself out of the hole. Inspector clueless and and another example why the public don't have any faith in Police anymore.
How do we know the Inspector was not a rogue police officer who turns a blind eye to possibly her criminal activity or the criminal activity of her colleagues?
Seniour Peelers in the U.K. are seriously lacking. Corruption must be rife or endemic nepotism regards promotion. Maybe it's politically correct box ticking at fault. She didn't even come across at all as being a Peeler. All Mumsy & ignorant she is.
The Sargent really needs to learn to look people in the eye when he’s attempting to exert he’s authority and the constant fidgeting is also a sign of weakness as a so called leader.
This is the standard of policing we have in the UK, this is an inspector , the UK public has every cause to be very worried about the policing standard in this country.
Done a bit of digging and it's a Ford Escort F970FMW, very nice vehicle, it's a 36 year old car and is fully taxed up, the other is a 56 year old Austin A60 - both looked in amazing condition - great videos DJE!
She's uninformed, making "The police" look uneducated, assumption is the mother of all. Inspector know-nothing Failed at her job. No apology for her illmanerd ignorant approach, shameful.
So the senior managers who are ment to be guiding younger officers haven't a clue! God help us in another 10 years when these people are making major police decisions.
