Highlights from the Sandbag Ladder, the final event from Day 4 of the 2022 CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin. With fewer steps and complexities than some of the other workouts throughout the week, the challenge here was simply an escalating series of single rep, sandbag-to-shoulder lifts, using Rogue's Strongman Sandbags. The greater your max weight, the higher your spot will be on the leaderboard.
Women lifted sandbags starting at 160 LBS up to 250 LBS, the latter of which was successfully achieved solely by event winner Dani Speegle. On the men's side, the weight range was 240 LBS to 340 LBS, with four competitors hitting the 340 LB max: Guilherme Maheiros, Nick Mathew, Brent Fikowski, and Jayson Hopper. Overall leader Justin Medeiros finished next with a max lift of 330 LBS.
