Hey Jay! Great Review! I appreciate the shout out! At first I was between the Rogue and Ghost and ended up going with the Ghost because of the 2x2 uprights instead of the 3x3 uprights on the ghost and the bench that the Ghost has (not a fat pad as the Rogue and with the wheels)! The 3x3 uprights on the Rogue causes the lifter to hit the uprights when un racking and re racking the bar if they are using a competition style bar with thinner collars as the uprights are thicker (same as a power rack). At the end, both are great options as they are on the heavier side. Also the lead time on the Ghost is around 16 weeks compared to 1 week for the Rogue one.

I prefer the texas or ghost over the rogue. Every competition I’ve done has had either and they feel very similar. The rogue just seems too big and clunky whenever I’ve used it there’s also not much room to re rack pad grip is also a complaint for me.

Very informative, thank you for the review! Quick question, what kind/size band pegs are you using with the Rogue combo? I can't seem to locate band pegs that are capatible on Rogue's website.

Thank you! I just use the monster band peg 2.0. I have to use two on both sides in order to get the right amount of tension and to keep the bands from slipping out of place.

I’ve used both in a powerlifting gym. You SHOULDN’T fail a squat in either but if you had to, I’d pick the Rogue. Also, the Rogue holds up much better after multiple guys slam an 800lb barbell into the uprights (not me). Beyond moving the bench, the other downside of the Rogue is I’ll hit the plates on the face savers if I’m using the 20kg bar. There’s just less room for error with the Rogue. Wouldn’t be an issue if you’re benching with that Texas Power Bar. On balance I’d get the Ghost but mostly because I think it “looks cool”. But, in reality, I’m just sticking with the power rack.

I agree. Failing squats in either is pretty sketch. I have a Texas Squat Bar so it doesn’t hit the uprights at all on walk out and the Texas Bench Bar, which most people don’t move very much from side to side on so no big issue there. Thank you for your input!

I don’t feel like it would be worth the extra money. The Rogue rack provides everything I need with minor inconvenience. I could buy so many other gym thing with the extra money!

Hey Jay! I am new to the Combo Rack! Can you do incline presses and military presses on the Rogue Combo Rack?

Yes you can if you have an incline bench. The bench that it comes with stays flat. The squat catches are really long so it’s probably pretty ideal for that. The only thing is that the spotter arms do not go high enough to spot you. Either you’re gonna have a spotter or you’re doing light weight for reps

Hey Jay! How did you get ahold of a Black Rogue Name Plate on your Rack in the back? Is it on an RM-6?

I bought a RM-3 to use for the Rhino uprights and the stall bars. So they came from that rack

Did you have to buy the charcoal color to get the Black Name Plate? Just to confirm it is the one that goes across the top of your rack, like a Top Beam. Not the tiny little name plates with a silver backing.

@@trinabourassa3348 sorry I misunderstood. I got the gun metal colored rack so the name plate came in that color as well. So the inside came black. It is an RM-6
