will it be possible to have a army builder app/program? I know it sounds rather lazy (so Ive been told) but it helps especially for those of us who don't have much time on our hands and want to make a quick list!
Just got my books today and made my first practice game - I love how quickly this goes! Also glad about this video, because i apparently played snipers wrong :) I got one question about pinning though - when pinned it says the warrior may not move... but that doesn't block me from taking the Aim&Shoot package, right?
Awesome, thank you! Great to hear you've enjoyed your first game. That's right, you can still choose the Aim & Shoot package when pinned. The Sniper Specialist does get a +1 to their shooting attack, but any Warrior can take a Sniper Rifle. In the video example, the Warriors armed with the Sniper Rifle was not a Sniper Specialist.
Did you experiment with the sniper rifle doing d6 mortal wounds, instead of d3? That, given the normal mechanics, would give a sniper specialist about a 5% chance of a one shot incapacitated result at long range. So when’s the fourth book coming out? I was going to order the first two. Then you announced the solo play book so I decided to wait and order all three to save shipping. Now I’m tempted to wait for the fourth book. Yes, Lee, I’m THAT cheap! Sad really. ☹️
We did experiment with d6 but it just felt too much for this game. It would definitely be fun to play it like that for a one shot sniper themed Mission, though. I'm sure we'll be putting something like that out down the line 😉 The next book (book 4) is coming out around the 20th May, maybe sooner. That's going to be a Vietnam era jungle warfare theme. Then straight away we'll get to work on book 5, so they'll keep coming regularly. We have a list of themes we are working through, and it's awesome to get votes from the Patreon and Facebook. 🤣 I don't blame you, more money to spend on books and minis!
