I really liked this review. I think robot mops can be nice little helpers, especially for keeping the house clean in between more intense cleanings, but I also think it is not worth to invest a lot of money in them.

Also, the detailed clean option is intense and I’m sure cleans better than the 240. Finally, the reusable mop heads clean better than the disposable.

I like the self cleaning mop, but I since I have low pile rugs, tile, and hardwood, this robot would not be totally hands free for any amount of time if I want to clean all my surfaces in one session. I don’t mind sending a robot out one or more times but I don’t want to have to change, take off, put equipment for the different cleaning modes. So far, I have seen only on Robot on the market that comes real close, and that’s the new RoboRock, with a auto raise mopping plate that raises when it senses carpet.
