Excellent instruction video. I liked seeing some of the adaptations you used. Especially starting at the center. Everyone else I've watched anchors it at one end and works across. Was that an original idea you came up with?

The adhesion promoter was not used and is a must before adhering especially on a surface other than paint, so you might have separation. Also, it's best to roll up and start from one side versus the middle. Only start from the middle on pickups with a contoured truck bed floor like Silverado, Colorado, Sierra and Canyon, that extends to the tailgate gap.

Good vid. I've been thinking of doing this to my Tacoma as well. Since I'm in Mississippi weather being warm won't be an issue this time of year. However, 2 questions: 1) I noticed you used what appeared to be rubbing alcohol and then used an alcohol pad? I understand why you would use rubbing alcohol, but why a 2nd time with the pad? 2) I see a marker in your vid. Was that used at the ends to denote where to cut off?

Have you guys considered a full “Bed Rug”? Wonder if that would also help decrease the dirt/sand that gets in

Not sure about the yotas, but the biggest gap on the tailgate of my Chevy is on the Sides when it's closed. I'm keeping my eyes open for ideas how to seal those off.

Are there gaps in the vertical sides where the tailgate closes? I am planning on doing the same for the tailgate crease when I get my M; but my f150 has big gaps in the sides too

Does this helps with stopping dust and dirt Frome getting into the bed???

I have Tacoma as well, did you use the 4.25" size?
