I just noticed that in 'Mad Priest' throne is more destroyed than in 'Mad Prince' and in 'Mad Prince' throne is more destroyed than in 'Mad Queen', those are really well thought out covers. And amazing music as always👏

I see questions about whom killed who in the Mad Series... Rok's music allows listeners to paint their own stories. Yet another reason I love his music.

The priest gives me palpatine vibes. Like he staged this whole thing and was working behind the scenes to finally rise to power

In my head, there is a whole story going on just from the covers I've seen. "The King, a just man, goes out to hunt down the menace to his kingdom: a devil. He slays the evil creature and travels back to his kingdom, cheered on by his loyal subjects and adored. However, when he gets home, his wife notices there is a shadow about him, a darkness that wasn't there before. The King begins to become crueler, more closed off, and tyrannical. His eyes seemed to glow with a feverish light, a madness from within. She, torn apart from duty and love, plans to assassinate the man who owns her heart "For the good of our people, my dear... I must." One night, as he plays with the severed head of the devil, she walks over to him and leans in to give him a kiss. As he relaxes his guard, a dagger sinks into his chest. The mad King is no more. However, strangely, something compels her to take his head... She begins to rule. For a time, the citizens relax and celebrate the death of the mad King. As the Queen tries to restore the damage from her dead husband, she has nightmares at night. Exhaustion begins to make her more and more volatile. Then, she suddenly begins to lash out at her son, her ministers, and everyone else. Bit by bit, she becomes not violent, but cold and calculating. She expects greatness from her son and harshly lords over him and her own subjects. As the Prince comes of age, he breaks away from the invisible shackles his mother tied him up with and kills her to escape. He begins to live a life a luxury and indulgence as he toys around with his subjects like they were nothing but livestock. It does not take him long to grow as mad or as terrible as the King and Queen, his father and mother. Finally, like an avenging angel, the priest steps forward and slays the Prince to relieve the people of their suffering. He was merely carry out the word of God, of his Lord. The bloodline was tainted and needed to be erased from the land. He steps forward, a figure of benevolence and kindness, as he aids the ailing populace. They rejoice and cry out in adulation of him and the God he serves. Except, the one he serves was never a God. He willing uses the heads of the three royals to call to his Lord, the very entity he serves. "Use me as your vessel. I am but your willing lamb," he cries out from the broken throne. Behind him glows a figure with horns and darkness pours from him. His eyes glow and he smirks slowly, the blindly worshipful expression fades into something almost... malicious. The Priest steps out onto the balcony to address his people. He smirks widely and raises his hands in the air. The crowd of people cry out for him. He breathes in deeply, savoring the air, the pure devotion he is receiving... and chuckles low under his breath. "How entertaining," he whispers to himself as he stares at the people below. Darkness is seeping across the stones and through at feet of the crowd. Slowly, their eyes begin to glow with a feverish light. "The true show has only just begun," he murmurs as he turns and strides into the castle once more. Anarchy begins to break out as the crowd lashes out at each other. Fire begins burning through the capital and a darkness spreads like a plague upon the land. All those who exalt him begin to lose their minds much like the King, the Queen, and the Prince. However, no one dares to point fingers at the Priest. After all, isn't he the sanest of them all? Isn't he the one who saved them from the tyranny? The Priest takes the throne once more and laughs to himself as he feels the cracks running through the stone. The throne splits and crumbles behind him. He sits and lets the darkness devour until nothing of the throne... of the kingdom remains but broken, unidentifiable rumble. In his shadow on the ground is the splitting image of the devil that the King had so desperately gone to slain. The shadow's eyes glow an eerie red, matching the fiery irises of the Priest. "Now... what's next?""

'Come. Come my children. Sit. Listen to our King's fateful tale. Learn, my children. Step in his steps, breathe his air, my brethen. For only one shall wear his crown. And, what have you? Are you brave enough?'

Thank you Rok Nardin. Thank you for sending me a birthday email. I've seen that you care about your fans, and that's something special. This song is fantastic as always.

Look closely at the Priest...the next theme was hidden already there! Id you look cloesely you can see the Horns of the devil from the mad devil...this is pure Genius man!!

By the blood of three I call to thee The head of a king with strength, forcefully taken. The head of a queen with grace, artfully seized. The head of a prince with cunning, Traitorously severed. 3 heads, 3 royals,1 line ended I grant thee form and call ye forth.

The king, queen, and prince ruled through power and fear. But I intend to rule through divine law, and justice!

I think this is the perfect end for this saga of songs. In the image we can see the shadows of the devil behind the priest, maybe just before being summoned or reborn. It is an endless cycle, doomed to repeat itself . . like those song repeat themselves in my playlist for being so damn good.

OH MY GOD, what I just heard was amazing. That build up start with the Violins to the vocals... my god! You feel the story through the music in your own internal imagination and that makes this series thrive! From my perspective, the Priest has been pulling the strings all along. Convincing the Queen to kill the King and driving the Prince to madness only to have him killed. The Priest sits the throne, finally achieving his goal of sitting with all the power, all the cards and yet, the throne is not what it used to be. I love it.

Rok nardin. You are a musical genius. How you made these four great pieces with diffrent styles, and create the same feeling, is amazing. I am, probably as many others, stoked for what you might bring us next!

Chronologicaly the picture demostrates 5 creations of rok : the devil than the mad king who killed the devil, than the mad queen who killed the mad king, the prince who killed the mad queen and then the priest...but did the preist kill the prince? Rok is a genius🔥

I really love The Mad series. It’s so good. I can’t wait for a Mad Jester. And there’s a story to all of these pieces, I can see it in the art Also, Rok you’re so amazing at this. All your music to me is just like, it hits the right spot

This series can never end. Gotta cover every character in the book and then start making new ones when you run out of the usuals, this series is too good to end

Rok by himself, creates this magnificent story with his "The Mad" songs which enables me to create these images in my head for exactly what story he has in mind. A religious leader working underneath everyone's noses, setting up a conflict between the royals in order for himself to sit on the throne...awaiting his master, the Mad Demon to share the news.

Just realized the foreshadowing of the new song. Brilliant. The devilish shadow on the flames in the background are not from the priest but for... The Mad Devil.

This needs to be played whenever a potential Moff or dignitary enters the Palpatine's chamber....red robed guards suspended in anti gravity as floating sentinels

This is a suggestion : "The Mad God" I've already talked about Mad God in the previous video's comments (it's a movie) I think the visuals of this film could help you to have a really great song. I feel like I can almost see your songs, this would be, I believe, a masterpiece.

I literally just woke up and my day is already made, this dude just makes amazing music. Even the priest turned mad now, nobody is safe from becoming mad.

As much as I love to see the “Mad” series continue,this feels like an epic finale. All of the mad royalty dead, the Devil and his priest remains. Great music,Great art.

I think this is my favorite work of yours, and I've been here ever since The Devil. I've always been a fan of religious themes in music, and this dark, dramatic, intense, final boss atmosphere REALLY fits well. I'm absolutely having this on replay whenever I sit down to write. It's perfect.

Someone suggested Mad Priest a while ago and he did it. Rok is gonna blow me away every second. If his artwork is so inspired, there's a set of horns in the back, maybe the only sane one is the God of Chaos? Or even, since they're all going mad, the only sane one is the farthest from the throne, the Insurrectionist...

I feel like the ending was the mad devil just stepping out of the shadow whilst the priest is having his moment of glory, cutting off right before we can see him killing the priest or something- that would look so cool in a movie😭

Wouldn't it be cool if there were three more pieces to this epic? A mad princess - once thought lost - returns and retakes the throne belonging to her bloodline, but perhaps, like those before her, she is unfit for rule, and the mad council intervenes. Chaos ensues, and kingdom goes up in flames as citizens riot and seek to liberate themselves - a mad kingdom. 🤯 Holy shit! I just gave myself goosebumps!

The emotions I feel when listening to this series is incredible. 👌🏽 the different instruments sounds really adds a great deal of musical enjoyment.

I rarely comment on RU-vid section videos but as an avid comic book writer I usually listen to your songs as I’m writing since they inspire creativity. For a solid month I wasn’t aware of how to connect a few points in my story but just by listening to this song I was able to finish it. I wonder if the track 'The Devil' is a prequel or a sequel to the 'Mad X' tracks. The cover for 'The Devil' is of a horned skull, and 'The Mad King' cover has him holding a horned skull (admittedly different style of horned skull), and each of the subsequent tracks featured the severed head of the key figure of the track before it. Final track (so far) features a horned figure in the background, seen through what appears to be some sort of portal...
