I saw the video of this one on the ROKR website and was impressed with the complexity and just wanted to see it for myself...and you get to come along for the ride!
I too am happy to see you doing this one Dan. I ordered the cello and the Sunshine Town kits at the same time knowing I would keep one and give the other as a gift. It was a tough decision but I opted for Sunshine. I am on step 18 (yes working very slowly and not every day) and could not have gotten that far without your videos to follow along with. So thank you for your help. I still think the music box cello is a lovely kit and look forward to seeing how well the finished item works.
So far, I’m amazed at how well it’s going together, I was a little surprised at how small it is, but I think the overall design will come together in the end.
Love the videos. I just started the video and it may be answered, but any tips on getting the little round pieces on the ends of the metal rods without hurting my fingers when you can't really use the tool?
Honestly, not really, I think they are getting better at making the little round pieces now, it doesn't seem to take as much force as it used to, but I haven't figured out a better way yet. 🤷♂️
Most of them I’ve just accumulated over the years, but you should be able to pick up some similar stuff at harbor freight if you have one close by, but any department store with a fair tool section should have most of them. Also, thanks for watching!
