I had bad audio sync issues with new Ultra. Unsuccessfully tried many settings menu fixes from the Roku thread before this video. Unplugging the tv and replugging with Roku connected and plugged in worked for me. Thanks so much.
I had tried every one of these steps except unplugging my tv and factory reset. Was hoping I wouldn't have to do a factory reset. So I tried to unplug the tv and plugged it back in and omg that worked. Thank you!
When audio on my Roku began to have a static pulsing sound, after confirming it was not the TV itself, (Peacock channel on Roku also said I had nothing in 'My Stuff' which was not true) I pulled out the power and HDMI cables on the back of the Roku, hit 'reset' (a little button on the back where the cables are) and waited a few minutes That worked for me. Maybe I only had to do one of the 3. I'm not sure which one it was, but it was a simple fix.
Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart, my tv was making the audio sound like a potato and i thought "Fuuuuh, I don't wanna get a new tv" anyways many thanks and love for this!!
I just wish there was a fix that would fix it for good. It seems like this is happening daily. We just got this Roku in December 2022 and it hasn't worked well since. I wish I had sent it back, but I kept thinking we could fix it. The unplugging works, but it is a pain.
I recently switched to streaming last month. I was getting crackling, vibrations, and distortions during the streaming breaks, then it was good during the program, and now during the program I get crackling and distortions with little dialog. Only the hard reset is left to try. This is a 2009 Panasonic with years of heavy use. Never had a TV set that lasted this long.
Have a Roku ultra connected to my lg smart tv and tried all the steps and noting. Was watching prime tv and paused it and sound went away. I only get audio from the aux on the remote via headphones. None if the steps worked. Let me try an hdmi cable
Great video , I have two volume issues Sometimes the sound drops out for no reason and I look and the tv says the volume is at 0. I put it back up and it’s fine ? The other is on HBO Max the sound is off but the tv says the sound level is wherever I had it set so I go back a little then it play and the sound comes back . Crazy any ideas ? Thank you .
When streaming thru Roku, the audio works great. My problem is the sound when watching cable. The sound is fine at some times then goes low at others. Some commercials it does that. Example..when watching a TV show, during the episode, sound is fine. But the sound goes low when the theme song is playing. Any suggestions?
