I wish Roland Boer would be more critical of American individualism and its civil religion. America is the disease threatening humanity today.

This guy's position is just what the clandestinely operating occultist Jacobins want us to think, to be blissfully unaware of the completely nonsensical assumptions underlying such thought _(like for instance that Freudian mindset that violence is mostly generated by repression, ignoring all existential problems and focusing only on luxurious psychoanalytical ones)_ . During this whole converstion I haven't heard a single convincing argument, it's just a drawn out presentation of his wishful thinking _(revolution is grace, good Lord !!!)_ .

@@batlash1 _"Paranoid, much?"_ If you could read and write, it would have to be _"Paranoid much?"_ , despite your insistence on ghetto language.

The parable of the talents isn't one of the parables about the kingdom of God on earth. Those are all prefixed by "The kingdom of God is like this..." That one isn't about God at all. That reading is grossly blasphemous in my opinion, and obviously so. It's about Herod, and both the righteous steward and the wicked ruler describe him as cruel and greedy. To treat that parable as talking about God has Jesus calling his Father cruel and greedy and wicked. It's one of his cautionary tales about how the church should approach surviving in the world surrounded by wicked rulers and greedy merchants pending the final victory of the kingdom and Jesus' return. The righteous steward's mistake is to try to temporise and appease Herod, or any other ruler like Herod who bought his office as a client king of Rome to be a _comprador_ for the empire by gouging the people to enrich himself and Rome at their expense, while trying to also serve God by doing righteousness and not investing the money to generate a quick return in the only ways it could generate a quick return in the Roman world, which being slave trading and usury. In other words he tried to serve both God and Mammon, and the Herodian punishes him for doing so. It can be read as an example text that proves Jesus's guidance that you cannot serve both God and Mammon. So the warning is make sure you don't try to do that. If you want to stay righteous, which is non-acquisitive, generous, fair dealing and socially responsible, then if you're stuck with a wicked ruler like that, you can't serve him at all. You can't remain in office under him as a minister or magistrate, or else you'll be forced into his wickedness. You have to stay away altogether, boycott the regime however you can, and wait and work for his removal. And by all that's Holy, that vengeful, punitive, cruel ruler isn't God! It couldn't be more obvious, but it seems to need pointing out anyway.
