when you played it as an arp at 4:04 and 4:48 , it kinda sounds like one of those cool drum synthesizer machines (dfam), it could probably work in a hypnotic techno song!
The power of the D20 is not in these boring PCM waves, but in the synth-waves, saw and square, which can be filtered and PWM'd, and then stacked in the multitimbrality option. It needs some deeper dive then though. And of course, the rhythm section! Drum machine. There you can combine up to 4 sounds per key pressed. Never seen again on any other synth.
