@@KyriakosSoul First of all: The full-featured sequencer of the Fantom. The "Sequencer" of the MODX is just something like a "Tapedeck", where can can start recording, stop it, but no way to edit the recorded items. Second: Richer sound. MODX sounded somewhat "thin". Modeless operation. Fantom does everything in a simple way by "Scenes". A Scene contains all your setups incl. sequencer. Ease of operation. The Fantom operations are logically and even learnable by intuition. Fantom has the better keyboard and touchscreen. Both respond very quick and smooth. Negative on Fantom: Poor operations manual; but they know why....... Positiv on MODX: Ton's of "How To" videos.

@@oliveruecker4919 thank you my friend! So, you think that I will easily save all my splits, pedal settings, velocity switches etc on the fantom? I have no idea about fantom, because all my worksations were made by korg! Also, can you please tell me what will happen in a scene, for example with 3 sounds, a guitar with distortion-overdrive effect, a lead with talking modulation effect and an electric piano with chorus and reverb? What about all these effects? Will all these sounds being listened right? With their own effects? Really thank you for your time! 🙏

@@KyriakosSoul Hello! Pedal settings are global; e.g. polarity. If you have three sounds inside a scene, you can apply own effects to any instrument in the effects chain. Another thing is Master effects: This applies to all of the instruments inside the scenes. Hope, that helps...... Maybe you should have a look to the Fantom 0 Reference guide.

SMFファイルで出力してると思うんですけど、それは音色のデータじゃなくて、ピアノ系の音でこんなフレーズを弾くくらいしか含まれてないので、WAVとかで出力するか、コンピュータに繋いで出力した音声を録音してください

This is a polyphony issue. The Fantom 0 has 128 note polyphony. Each tone/instrument can take up to 4 tones per note depending on its complexity. You can edit the tones to reduce the number of notes they consume - in several cases it wont affect your sound too much.

Nope, but you can on the FA06/7/8. I just re bought an FA06 for that very reason and got it 'like new' condition for $550 😊

The Keybed on the 06 & 07 are Not as good as the old D-50 keybed but the 88 version weighted keys are really heavy , you have to play it .

In comparison to the Roland fantom (flagship) The fantom - o series feels a bit cheap but not bad...(based on many reviews on RU-vid). It's almost $1000 cheaper than the big Fantom But anyway you have to play it yourself if it's possible for you....

@Rhizosphere Hi! Fantom O series is much better than Nautilus, especially for live use. By the way, I think the Rolands are the best for live performance, and the user interface of the Fantom O is particularly well done, and you can see it right away.

Kronos/Nautilus are #1 for live due to the superior Setlist, and they have more engines, large sample libraries, audio tracks, more flexible effects routing/stacking, linear sequencer, wavesequencing., ribbon controller, vector stick, KARMA(Kronos). Fantom has better file management, faster boot time, better for VA synthesis and the Roland repertiore of PCM and drum machines sounds, easy pattern-based seq and TR-style interface, simpler effects routing, and more processors, Tones in a multi (Scene)retain their own effects automatically, 2 wheels and a joystick, USB audio for each track.
