RELAX, it was just the 80's. OMG what a great demo. I'm dying. Was literally laughing at how hard this guy hit the details. AMAZING. I'm ready for Roland to take my money now.
No doubt this guy's inbox is crammed with requests to gig. I'm sure top tribute bands would kill to have a player like this. The Toto riffs were my fav. Dude, awesome work, and great technique. You rock!! Thank you!
Bro congratulations on such an incredibly dope release! Not only are the sounds amazing (I am listening and watching with the biggest smile ever on my face), but the song selection is INCREDIBLE. I mean, you put WEST END GIRLS on here. WHAT! Can't wait to give this a spin!
Crazy how this one keyboard could easily replace a handful of retro synths. Not to say that one would actually give those classic synths up but could half your setup. Dope work my man!!
outstanding detail on the patches. cant help thinking some of the drum tracks have been lifted from the originals for a bit of extra context but yeah great job. fantastic work.
Yes, some of the backing tracks were indeed instrumentals of the original recordings without the keyboard parts. Puts the sounds in context and demonstrates how the keyboard parts of the songs are activated and switched within a given scene.
Im a new keyboardist. Is there guitar tab equivalent for keyboards included with these cover expansions ? Or a better source to learn how to play each song thanks
yes there are polyphony issues but we do our best to work around those limits by managing key and velocity zones and the number of layers used at a time.
Yes, that’s exactly what you get. Scenes with their respective custom tones setup across the keyboard. Most sounds use the Pad Switches to change sounds according to the section of a given song. This also includes one shot samples for a number of songs. This does not include midi backing tracks.
It’s not as simple as to compare instruments Roland can’t replicate Yamaha sound engines and vice versa so it’s down to preference No synthesiser will have have identical vintage sounds produced by other brands
Roland has said that files between the Fantom and Fantom-0 are compatible. We’re in the process of determining the degree of compatibility specific to our packs as soon as our Fantom-0 arrives this week.
@@narfsounds , ok I got it. I currently have a Fantom G and I'm not sure if I should buy a Fantom-0. Because the Fantom G despite being an older keyboard offers amazing features. Could you please give an opinion? If the Fantom-0 accepts packs and performs well I will buy it.
Too bad you can’t use all the free expansions that are available, because people might not have them installed. There doesn’t seem to be one synth that is best for doing all this, and I have the 3 major food groups. It’s better for 80s to at least have a real FM engine on board tho.
fun until you realize you need two specialized synthesizers and sound like the keyboard player in a real band, with two layers of presets on each keyboard to build a custom sound.
