Thank you for the video. Would you please be so kind enough as to consider doing a review of the Roland Fantom 2019? It's not just a workstation, but I believe a fully fledged synthesizer. To celebrate their 50th anniversary, they've added a new wavetable engine to the keyboard. I really like it. Thank you!
One thing I liked the most in this board it’s recording features. Would be great if they can add multi audio track recording and multi-sampling in coming firmware updates. Yamaha Montage doesn’t have the full sequencer recoding feature only the linear recoding is possible and that’s really a pitty that they did not added this feature to their flagship Mintage. Why the hell I will turn on my computer or a laptop for recoding in Daw. When it can be done in the workstation............
Bro you are spot on here. Something about having to turn on a computer and connect to other devices just doesn't do it for me. Especially at this PricePoint. I actually purchased the montage 8 and enjoyed it but because it didn't have those recording features I ended up returning it and I have the fantom 6 coming in tomorrow which I'm so excited about.
Kevin Allen It actually does now with the new Update. It is now considered as a workstation the Montage has a fully loaded sequencer I think Roland woke them up and it is now considered the successor to the Motif Series
Im a Roland Fantom user and tried it all from the first Fantom Fa 76, fantom X, fantom G, FA 06 and 08.. also an integra 7 user. All i can say about this new fantom, its great if you use it integrated with computer/VST.. Also the new controls makes it better.. but i still need to try it in person before deciding getting it which is i always do before buying a new synth.. in terms of sounds, theres really nothing new on sounds coz the sounds ive heard on this demo can be produced by any other synths/modules if you are only giving time on how to edit your ADSR( Advance delay sustain and release).. Lastly im still interested with this new synth. The outputs and new computer connections are great to have. The touch screen is not amZing coz we know this is old technology, even the korg trinity from the 90s has that touch screen already. Thanks Roland. i dont know if does it have a smooth transition? So the Integra 7 still has more preset sounds then them all standing at 6000+? Why didn’t the just include in this board all the integra 7 presets with the ability to tweak them even more?🤷🏾♂️
Do you have ram memory for user samples? And you can love multisample and play from the keys as well as the fantasy G? Or just shoot the samples from the pads, as well as in the Fa ...
Yamaha and Roland never had true organ sounds. At the moment Nord, Prophet X, XL, Hammond, Cruemar, Viscount have good tone of organ and hammond. I always enjoy brass sounds on Yamaha.
True, but a lot of people prefer hands on instead of staring at a computer screen. It's a lot more fun and creative. Plus this works much better on stage.
David Jorgensen Honestky it’s better to pair off both software and hardware I got a montage 8 and I use Pianoteq 6 pro fir it’s pianos and Rhodes cause software pianos are in another level compared to hardware. But I integrate it with my strings, pads and synth sounds in my montage 8 it’s actually sick! But yeah man after I got the montage 8 I’m not looking forward to buy any other hardware synth when I have endless possibilities on the montage and especially with my new MacBook which could be supported for like a good 10 years so you got a point but having a hardware it’s also fun comparing both you get heaven I tell you the truth. I only want to get Jupiter x to pair of with omnisphere and as a secondary board and that’s it I’m done with hardware
@@Khordmaster that's good to hear! because, on the FA-06, the keys area short and rather slim and the action is too hard (imo). it looks like they widened the keys some and made them close to a standard length. it's hard to tell from a video. i'll have to go check one out at guitar center. thanks for the info!

I used to own a yamaha montage 6 for a few years and today had a chance to try out the fantom 6 at my local guitar center and what I can say about the fantom keybed action is that I think it's amazing, very similiar to the one on the montage I used to own but in a way better, a bit more premium. Thinking in ordering the fantom 7 in a new future.
Great looking keyboard however..... I'm sorry but the string sounds are synthy. The Kronos on board strings are not the best but the Kurt Ader or Kapro downloads are just fantastic, realistic and emotional (I have a Kronos obviously)
