Hi Roger, I am a big fan of your videos and I love your enthusiasm and positivity! I would like to know if there is any way to split the midi information recorded from the R-Track into the other tracks, to keep the velocity settings for easier individual muting of a kick, hat, etc. My idea is to use 2 MC500s, one acting as a drum machine and the other for musical stuff. Do you think this is possible? Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot! I do have a video on Step Recording with the MC-50 and the SP-808. It's the Spiral Sequence from Vangelis but it doesn't cover editing mistakes and building chords with different gate times. That's a good suggestion. Let me check it next week!
Hello Roger with your tutorial about the MC 50 i try to learn how to sequence midi with it. Now i got a issue to play a sequence as a loop. Play and shift did not work dont know why. Can you help me? Maybe i forgot something or my shift botton dont work? Do you have an idea or trick how to loop? Thanks for your tutorials they re great
Hi! Hey...that's strange...SHIFT play should work. To see if your shift button works, hold shift and use the dial. When in measures, for example, the amount skips with 10 then the shift button works. Do you do play+Shift or Shift+play?
thank you Roger for your help. I did func and then 7 or 8 it was something with the settings there i forgot. Now it works fine and i can loop. Have a good day. I hope in future to work with the MC 50 as midisequencer too
@@Paulsmusik28237 Awesome that it works now. FUNC 8: Auto Stop. For sure it was NOT on OFF. Could have thought about that... Anyway, enjoy this hardcore sequencer. Nice unit! NICE UNIT!
