Great stuff! I just got an SH-4D a few weeks ago and really love the sounds it can make, but as a synth novice there is definitely a bit of a learning curve. Your tutorials are easily the best I have found. Keep up the good work!
So did I. Just bought SH4D and its my first "serious" synth. First using TE toys , Volcas , Novation Circut. Now after a research I chose Roland. It fits to my budget. Do not regret. Its more interesting and has many more possibilities than it looks. It is marvelous and underrated. Just found this channel today and must say - great and very informative videos. Good luck 🙂s@@malvinusmusic
Very nice! Isn't the SH-4d just a joy to use!! It's so straight-forward!! I find I'm constantly making some IDM or acid with my SH-4d. It makes so much sense compared to my other synths that it almost feels like cheating!! I recommend pairing the SH-4d with another groovebox with a more advanced drum machine or sampler, and tempo syncing the two devices via midi. I typically pair mine with my Korg Drumlogue for some notably more dynamic breaks/beats that aren't just limited to the classic (but used to death) 606, 808, 909 electronic drum sounds. Of course it doesn't have to be a Drumlogue. I've heard some very dynamic percussion coming out of the TR6s and the MC101. I just happen to own a Drumlogue and enjoy combining the analog drums with sampled breaks. But with four tracks of robust digital synthesizer engines, and a basic drum machine with some per-step editing options, the SH-4d is great for getting down the main melodic elements of a song... and to be even more honest... its fucking easy and fun to use!! My wife owns an Arturia MiniFreak and MicroFreak. In my opinion, the SH-4d is like having 4 MiniFreaks and a Boss Dr. Rhythm... for almost the same price as one MiniFreak. So it's an economically sound synth investment as well!! Keep on keeping on!! Cheers from Delco!
keep them coming! Its trend to bash gear but there is so much in this. anyone who bashes it need to give an example of something working.....Bro do you even lift.... the mod matrix
Any workaround with that, apart from building the arpeggio note by note? Maybe recording it and then adjusting the notes in sequencer? Don't know why Roland always do that in their machines
En efecto es un ritmo muy particular y la ejecución como siempre, genial. Habrá que practicar a ver en qué terminamos 👍🏼🤣🤣. Gracias, un saludo y buen fin de semana 😜
