Astute? Which is why Roland supports so many of the inane left wing Democrat policies right? For instance, almost every family I know could be called environmentalists in the sense that they all want clean air and water for their families, etc. Also, as a Conservative, I certainly support green energy, but it needs to be affordable enough for the average American. So what is the administration that Roland 'astutely' supports doing now? Well, for one - they ended America being an energy exporter and made us an importer - which has not only increased gas prices on the whole to some degree, but we were even buying Russian oil thereby helping finance their aggression against the Ukraine for far too long? Disagree? So now, as we import more oil, where is it coming from? Saudia Arabia and a plethora of other countries, who when they produce their oil, produce it with far, far more pollution than America. So, love or hate the oil industry here, I don't really care, but it's a fact of life that America produces and refines oil that is much cleaner than those we unwisely import it from. So until such time as America can sensibly ween itself off of oil and other hydro carbon producing energies, it is absolutely ridiculous to not depend upon our own energy resources. Moreover, with all the spending Washington does, is doing and wants to do, especially with the 'New Green Deal', nothing more is being done than raising inflation through the roof, as there's quite a direct economic corollary between fiat spending (quantitative easing or otherwise just printing money we don't have) and rising prices, and the average American is finding it quite, quite hard to get by. The precise reason why we need to pursue sensible energy policies, which we don't currently have, and gradually transition - in a smart way - to cleaner technologies just as we have used innovative American technology to give America the cleanest air and water it has ever had in the past 5 years. (another fact) As this same similar thing was done in the Obama Administration concerning massive federal give aways to green energy companies and the percentage of those projects that were or are successful is and was not good at all. While if anything ever helped define Crony Capitalism, it was that, and it happens on the right as well. Additionally, though this has nothing to do with the high percentage of failures with those companies, one can even in 'good faith' argue that this so - called 'investment' had little if anything to do with our economic recovery given how long it took, as normal business cycles will ultimately right the ship unless completely untethered such as now. Since at the time of the 2012 election, we still had double digit unemployment and Obama, of course, was totally wrong about Russia then, as was Roland. As I watched Roland and his post - debate comments and both he and the rest of the left wing all though President Obama was so astute w/his line about Mitt Romney's concerns about Russia being something that should have been left in the 80's. Conservatives also fully understand the effect of hydrocarbons, but all this, 'the sky falling rhetoric' has not been helpful. As no, the Earth is not going to be destroyed anytime soon and because we now have 20 years of solid data to look at, which allows us to compare what we were told and where we would be in 2022 or earlier - and seen that so many of those predictions were totally inaccurate if not just entirely made up - the hyperbole from adults should end. And I could go on and on, as everything I have written here is completely factual, but Roland very much in the past has been wrong and is currently wrong now in his support of policies that both don't or won't work and an administration that is truly amateurish, when it comes to its domestic and foreign policy, at best.

We live in a global world and all commodities are priced as such. It's not about conservative and liberals, its about shared interest. There's no difference between the parties and that's why nothing gets accomplished in Washington D.C. Green energy has been crippled by the lobbyists industry. I know because one of there representative approached me. I agree with much you have said but the disrespect towards others is a turn off. Our representatives don't even read the bills, their staff read the bills. They had no problem passing the biggest tax breaks for the wealthy while you and I pay more and we will not receive ours for a couple of years. Their are permanent, ours expire but yet they blow there dog whistle and we respond by pointing fingers at each other. When we grow up and realize that common people are getting a stiff one up the ass maybe then something will change. It's WE THE PEOPLE who are suppose to benefit. They are global capitalist that will do any and everything for the bottom dollar profit. That includes sending our jobs overseas for cheap wages. You better recognize. All media leans to one side or the other, some media outlets are fair and balanced. WE THE PEOPLE, African, European, Asian, Latino or whatever you classify yourself as pay high priced gas, food and many other services. Just think if we combine our interest together that will send a message to the elite that they will no longer manipulate the masses. Unity in numbers is how issues get solved when we move as one, peace.

As frankly, I'm in full agreement with George Washington who made it quite clear that political parties would cause great division which they have. While politically, I am also a conservative - on the whole - though always think for myself, and I frankly wish blacks would vote 50/50 so at least to give themselves more skin and political power in the game as opposed to voting 90-95% Democratic as Roland would have them do. Because at present, Democrats take them for granted and Republicans, who from time to time reach out, and I have myself in the past in Jacksonville, Florida, have often been shouted down because I am falsely perceived as some kind of racist which is absurd. And when it comes to some things such as 'crony capitalism' and/or politicians coming into office, making fortunes, and then staying forever, which is so totally anathema to what the founding fathers had in mind, I agree that there is no difference between the parties. However, on the whole, and this certainly doesn't mean I agree with every Republican policy, but whether its with policies such as the "New Green Deal" to declaring white supremacy the #1 problem in America, to opposing School Choice which would clearly do much to fix a terrible public school system, especially in our cities, or this bending to the histrionics of LBGQT movement - when there is clearly only two sexes, scientifically in man and woman, there is a large difference between the two (2) parties. Frankly, too, the American people have noticed which is why I am more than certain the Republicans will totally engage in an historic route in the mid-terms as the Democrat party, the party of my father and grandfather, has simply become too radical for me and other former Democrats I know who are now either independent or Republican. De-fund the police, and I could go on and on - honestly - when I don't deny that that we should seek to reform our justice system and make it more equitable - but both the left's and the Democrats' positions have gone way, way too far to the left. I don't care for Donald Trump, either, but policy wise, to be as honest as I can, his policies actually seem, are and were, far more sound on the whole than Joe Biden's. When as to the media, there's no question that it all leads to one side or another, but the fact of the matter is, the big three, in ABC, CBS and NBC, still control a much more massive audience and they totally put a leftist spin on their news. When you know, as well, where CNN and MSNBC are coming from, and hate Trump or not, for two years, we had the media that touched by far the most people telling us quite clearly he was a Russian spy and it was all nonsense. So while he may be many things, that he is not. Fox, too - of course - is Conservative. But what I do like about Fox is that their news division, which used to be led by Shep Smith, a devout Democrat, worked really hard at giving us straight news and people like Hannity, Carlson and Ingraham, etc., make no bones about being Conservatives. While CNN still tries to tell us that individuals like Anderson Cooper and/or Don Lemon, etc., do not have a similar bias going the other way, and therein lies the problem. I also don't believe Trump has presented evidence that the election was stolen from him in terms of the vote count, though there are countless irregularities which should be addressed. However, the major media totally going black on the Hunter Biden story, which in years past was the type of story that could totally kill a candidacy, very well may have cost Trump the election. I don't know, either, if there is great guilt there, but there is definitely a lot of smoke and Biden has clearly lied (and I know Trump has quite often too) as to his having no knowledge of Hunter's business dealings. So in that way, if you want to say one man is no better than the other as to telling the truth, I agree. But as to the parties and their policies, overall, I can not. Though I absolutely applaud you for looking for the truth and agree with many of your comments in a general sense. When it's going to take sensible people like you and I, I believe, to have legitimate and civil discourse if we are to ever get this country on sound footing again. As China is most definitely a major threat we must take more seriously, and Russia, obviously, as well. When in the short term, as to energy, and in the long term everything else, our European allies really need to step up to the plate and be with us to form a unified front. Good point and your right. Political debate has taken on different meaning for me over time. I totally understood what Roland was saying about Bongino not being able to stick and move or switch up the argument, understanding when to listen and when to attack. Those are strategies to win an argument but how important is it to win an argument if your not changing hearts and minds. So any debate that's not done in good faith is a total waste of time because if you start off with a faulty premise, you cant arrive at a sound conclusion. listen with the your heart and debate in good faith.
