I absolutely hate it when someone constantly suggests things for me to do with characters and I'm just sitting here like, "Do you want to be my character? You can do that if you want."

I'm so happy that role play is talked about that isn't a creepy asterisks. What you call long form rps I call Semi-literate to Literate depending on how long the paragraphs are, I just learned the terms from rping on amino too much.

I actually ran into a problem quite often with someone I used to RP with, where like, they would try really hard to involve their characters with mine in any way possible. We were dating at the time, and so it made a bit of sense, but like, I kept running into instances where there would be something serious going on, and his characters would swoop in to basically be comedic relief, or f**k everything up for everyone else. He had a character that was a self insert (that he insisted up and down wasn't, but like... come on. I dated him. I f**king -knew-) that he insisted be all up in people's shit. He insisted that it was to develop the character, but like, he seriously tried to get my classy character who is a spy for a rival country to take him to a swanky party with her. Mind you, his character was literally an orphan who did odd jobs, and was a low key petty thief. She wouldn't be caught dead with him, and I told him as much several times, but he was insistent.... so I let things progress, and had my character straight up leave him without saying a word because when the party was crashed, she did what she would do, and played the ditzy aristocrat who's just 'so traumatized!' even though she very much knew what was going on - thus letting him take the fall. I warned him from the get go that my character was a snake. He was angry at me for a bit after that, but like, I warned him? There was another character of his that was suuuuper fucking shy and timid - like overblownly so. When he found out that my character, a tomboy, was going to grow up to be a soldier, he immediately decided that the shy character (that he forced on my character as a friend despite him being terrified of her), was going to be a pirate. So they'd have to fight each other eventually and OOOOOO! The TENSION! When I asked him how his character, who was another orphan (surprise surprise) and was raised by the church, was even going to get to that point, and what would finally cause that snap, he couldn't even answer me. He just basically wanted to do the opposite of whatever I did, then expect it to work. And when it didn't, then it was my fault, instead of it literally being because I pointed out the gaping plot holes. XD I'm sure ya'll can figure out my preferred role play style. Sorry this is so long.

I absolutely HATE, when people don't use the right grammar-

One of my pet peeves would probably be when there's a timeskip or something and maybe a oc of mine is dating one of there's cause ynow it isn't Canon. And we do a different rp and they end up saying oh hey they aren't dating anymore in the role play. And well ynow..when people just try to control my character wich reeeally annoys me.

I prefer long form cause it just makes it much more intense and interesting idk. It always pissed me off to rp with the one sentence people cause it didn’t leave me with much to respond to. Plus some people change the rp to first person randomly and it got so annoying.

I was once roleplaying with someone who did a whole bunch of weird things. She made me kiss her character and protect her and blah blah blah. While he was a nice dude, he was simply be too cowardly to do so many brave things! And they literally just met on the day they kissed! And she always made her character the victim. Bam, sexual assault. Bam, parents dead. Bam, car accident. Over, and over, and over. And when I tried to make something happen to mine character (and my character only), she basically said, "Scoot over! It's gonna happen to me too!" I politely asked if it could only be with my character, and she said no. I was too nervous and kind to say I wanted to stop, but thankfully, she quit the site soon after.

Kids these days with their tumblrs and their discords. Back in my day we had to press a button 15 times to even get one letter on our non-smart phones and we were grateful for the opportunity!

Roleplays can be fun but then you got one person to wreck the rp by breaking the rules. I have rped for a long time and I had the * phase but then I decided; wait I'm a writer why am I using these dumb stars? I love your rambling and peeves here and agree with these peeves.

I've role played on Tumblr for about 7 years. One pet peeve of mine is when the person you rp with just suddenly drops the thread and never tells you or when people rp with you because there's no one else. I met this role player and we slowly became friends. I introduced her to an old friend of mine, then the role player dropped me and just rp with my old friend! The funny thing is the role player and my friend fought and they no longer talk, and soon after the role player tried to rp/talk with me. I no longer rp with the person or talk to them.

One thing I personally don’t like is when someone throws a roleplay onto me. Like, they dm me then “Wow, your house sure is big!” ??? Where did you come from???

You should do like shipping pet peeves! I've always been curious about what you got annoyed about with ships and stuff (if you do) bc like I have an issue where a friend of mine, which you know it was ok at first, literally doesn't enjoy characters of mine unless they're shipped with his?? And he assumes all my characters are gay and for gay ships, which you know, I don't mind doing gay ships. But ALL mine and his ships are gay ships, which ok, his preference bc he is gay but he gets upset when I tell him I'm making a lover or have an idea for a lover of a character he said was his FAVORITE. Then suddenly they aren't his favorite anymore. It's kinda eugh

My biggest role play pet peeve is when people make their character super overpowered. LIKE MY GOD, some people I've roleplayed with where HORRIBLE. Most of the people like this I've roleplayed with will be a bully, said bully ALWAYS, will like punch you and I being a bean will go along with it and they like BLOCKS PUNCH every time and even if they let you hit them it doesn't effect them at all. Don't be this roleplayer pls

I had a chat where it was just for laughing and stuff but me and a few other people would rp at like midnight and we had a rule of no rping when the rest of the gang is on CUZ we didn't want to annoy then. and then the chat owner asked if they could invite someone they knew so everyone said sure and the person joined and everything was fin. until around midnight. the person was still on so everyone in our rp asked if it was ok because it was only us and the person. they asked if it would be cool to rp. and went to god mode, it wasn't to bad tbh. but they used a lit format(paragraphs) so they would do something but everyone would already be past it and they would do god stuff and basically back track. it wasn't there fault so we asks if they could do semilit. they did but then we realized how much of a god they were and just stop rping there and made a chat with only us in it. granted we probably should have made a different chat to begin with but we were lazy. :P

Long format is what most call literate aka novel format, the semi-literate, and script form. Most do these on paper, online in comments or DM/PM's I love role playing to flesh-out oc's, dont know why it just helps Love your vids Michie, keep doing you!

Lmao me and my best friend did a roleplay on our phones once. It was veeeeeery random with milk, bars, vampires, and I think cows?

My roleplay days ironically started on youtube almost ten years ago with power puff girl fancharacters, then it added naruto, and alvin and the chipmunks... My biggest pet peeve is when they're writing a paragraph AND DON'T USE THE PROPER FORMATTING SO IT'S JUST A WALL OF TEXT WITH NO SPACES, INDENTS OR NOTHING! I also dislike when a character is "invincible." I had this one rp YEARS ago with a friend and a random person who insisted on trying to mess with a couple who'd been together for literal years. Their reaction to my character being not okay with that? Fight them. Counter EVERYTHING by something BIGGER BETTER BADDER and then ripping their head off. It just kinda ruined multi roleplay for me especially considering it was the first one in forever because of my anxiety. Also NSFW not a pet peeve, but I avoid it because 1. you never know how old the person is on the other side of the screen and the risk of rping that with a minor who lied about their age is like NOPE 2.I'm in the gray spectrum and 99% of the time it doesn't interest me 3.You also have to raise the question how the person and/or their significant other views that sort of roleplay. Some may see it as cheating so you need to ask and KNOW if you're into that type of thing. Personally I skim over it in roleplay now a days.

God mod* Also Powerplaying is what you're talking about. God modding is when your character is super powerful. Powerplaying is when you control someone else's character (not letting them dodge in the fight, saying their character looks nervous/angry/sad/aroused etc.)

This reminds me of when I played animal jam and these people will be role playing and one would be like no miss no nothing insist kill and the other would do almost the exact same thing and basically be a battle of who can type absurdity faster.

I get triggered when someone isn't very specific. Like, I do the paragraphs, but I'm fine with people who don't do super long ones. But people who are just like- *Sits * *Sighs * *Goes to Tom * It's just like....... *Dude. At least TRY* Also, people who do it from first person. Keep in mind i was a kid when this happened < _ > I role played with my cousin once in real life, then she chose the topic.. her topic or thing to role play as, she chose goddesses and witch, I mean the topic was fun and unique, but then when she asked me what goddess i am, i chose water then after i chose my 'power' i asked her what her power is... then she said earth and plants! since she was a year younger than me i said 'sure why not' then when we finally start to role play. This is how it went: Me:* *Uses water powers* * Hey can i see your power? Her: sure! * *Makes dirt float, trees carry her to the sky, every thing starts thundering, my water starts losing control* * HAHA I STOLE YOUR POWER!! This isn't a pet peeve but has anyone noticed, past or present roleplayer, realised that since role-playing required alot of typing that their typing has gotten alot faster. I might be mostly talking to the semi lit or lit type rp's like myself but that was just something I realized (idk if its just me loll)

I have a few players in my DnD group that I really can't stand, one metagames to the max because they read ALL the monster manuals so now the DM has to make/change monsters so this person can't say "Oh their AC is 15 so my attack hits." and two only care about fighting stuff and never roleplay their characters. Other than that, I've only roleplayed a few times on discord just for fun and it's gone NSFW (I was under 18 so big no no) and I had to tell the person "Hey, yeah um, can you not please?" and they got pissy about it. But I have gotten a few really good roleplays before! ^-^

OHHHH BOY. I used to roleplay a ton and literally all of these have happened to me a multitude of times. One of my biggest peeves is when a person won't roleplay unless you let them use a certain character. Usually this isn't too bad, but when that specific character doesn't fit the story at all, then it gets annoying. One of my friends would always (and probably still does) do this and it drives me up a wall every time

So, kinda random crackland question, who controls Gabe in your roleplays?

I've had roleplays several times where the other person would just make a trans male character and the only personality the character had was being sad, literally doing nothing to transition/Come off as a guy and they all ended up being pregnant, big busted, wide hipped girls that cared nothing about being a guy. I literally can't roleplay with someone anymore that tells me the character is trans. It always ends up being the same story route, even if i try something different. I hate it when they try to make a big deal about the whole trans thing and thats the only thing the character is known for,,,,, (Sorry for rambling, it's just a big Pet Peeve of mine)

It´s been ages since I last was participating in a role play, actually it was really awesome to get ideas for drawing when the brain was blocked and you couldn´t really think of sth all by your own. Agree with your pet peeves, + when participants suddenly drop out without saying in anything and you just sit there being "UUh, what?". Dropping out is fine, but at least say so beforehand. P.S. That Agate is so adorable!! *_*

After watching the video, [C] flicked their finger in a way that scrolled their screen down the comment section. Their taps on the screen precise in every way, typing out an insanely stupid comment to make a humorous joke. They soon finish the comment and pressed the sideways flipped V to publicly send their messages to all whom scroll to the comments.

What I hate is when your roleplaying a character and the person's OC expects the canon character to fall in love with them or fight over them and like random shit and it's just like . . . dude dafuq? OC'S can't be like .. y'know ... the ONLY source of drama in the story.

At like 16:22 all I could think was "That's not understandable, have a terrible day."

I was in an Undertale roleplay where my character, Ret, was 10 years old and her friend, Monster Kid, was 12. I started roleplaying with my friend and at one point Monster Kid had just gotten knocked out with anesthesia for an experiment and was just waking up, still acting kinda high. So, he starts getting really flirty with my character (who, may I remind you, was TEN YEARS OLD and was just friends with Monster Kid over a shared love of Undyne) and saying things like "heyy rettyy you're lookiingg hottt" and things like that. Of course, my character was laughing her ass off and thought it was just the anesthesia that was doing that to him. Apparently, my friend thought our two characters would do a shy little kiss and then run home anime-style. Keep in mind this is a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, the 10-year-old carrying the 12-year-old home because he was too tired to walk but apparently not too tired to make up pickup lines and puns like "I know there's plenty of fish in the sea, but I chose this one" (Ret is a fish btw).

I'm late to this video but, I don't care So my biggest rp pet peev is when the rp always ends up revolving around the person's that I'm rping with character. Like, there was this on girl that I role-played with for a few years (I was young and had nothing else to do) and our rps were usually like Teen Titans or something and we would add our own characters to it. Well after a while I noticed that her character always had the spotlight and I only used my characters maybe 5 times a rp and 1 rp would last months. It got really annoying after a while and I just completely stopped rping with her.

I always do Warriors rps and when I don't like the roleplay (as in, multiple people have broken the rules, people tell me to do something with my character, or frikin MAGIC gets involved) I have my character die some weird way.

A dark cave stands before you the sound of the water trickling down the sides echos come from the cave My charater "Yeah uh, ya know I'll just stay out here while you- ahh!!" Runs into the cave because they saw a butterfly

I once did an rp with a friend, I was a magical froggo with a loggo named froggo loggo, my friend was one third human one third demon and one third dragon named Matt. The first thing that happened was me getting dragged to hell by a universe snake in a tub of spaghetti so I got dragged to hell and met Matt then Matt punched me out of hell and we got in our first fight. So we rolled two normal die and if it was a five or under you failed your action and if it rolled an 11 or higher it would be a critical hit. My first turn hitting the bad guy I rolled a 4 and hit myself in the face with my log knocking myself out. Later in the rp when Matt and I adopted a full demon child and had jobs in a little town with our child in a rlly good school another ruler from another country died so our family went to revive them then got chased by that country’s population because Matt summoned a demon army. I’ll leave it as that.

One time I was on a murder/high school roleplay with my sister. My sister was the murderer and she was attacking a girl. At the time I still allowed people's characters to have powers on those types of roleplays because my 9 year old self knew how to appeal to the public more than present day me apparently and I knew more people would come if I allowed them to be goddesses and demons. so my sister stabbed the girl but suddenly she's made of WATER. She said the knife went through her. She then proceeded to tell everyone in the roleplay that my sister was the murderer. They then all teamed up on her. At this point we decided to end the roleplay and we both left. Some people are so overprotective or their roles. They create these over powered OCs so they don't have to kill them off. There were so many other roleplays she could go to after her character died but she chose to do that instead. It's now kind of an inside joke with me and my sister and we mention it every time we talk about roleplaying pet peeves.

i agree with the nsfw part. i dont like when people just do the do in a rp. i love the build up to it, the more chemistry between the characters makes the part more special.

I haven't watched the full video yet. I began RPing on Animal Jam (Warrior Cats), but I recently "left" the game (I just don't play it anymore because I feel too old for it). Does anybody know an RP site or something for noobs? I don't really feel like I'd be that good at RPing -- I also don't like long form RP -- I tried RPing with my brother, but he takes an eternity to type back (he's a slow typer), and he absolutely refuses to have a normal fight. We always end up escalating the fight so much that the only way to stop it is to just reset the RP. Lol, sorry for such an annoying comment to those who took their time to read this. ^U^"

I'm considered old in the RP community myself, so I've personally done both script and long form. (I literally have no life so I've done long form for a while, now.) There was another form of RP that me and my bro did when we were younger, though. About in middle school, I think. This was, as we called it, OMRP. (Shorthand for Open Minded Roleplay) We shared a room, so when we were told to go to bed at night, we'd lay down in bed and basically roleplay stories. Like... talk them out. We'd take turns controlling characters and events. It was kinda like reading a book, but the book was improvised and only in our minds. I 100% cringe at the idea now, but we had fun with it and it's probably why I can write things spur-of-the-moment like I can now. I rarely ever talk about my RP habits, but it seemed like something I could share on an RP related topic.

Whaaat? Everyone doesn't ask before hand when theyre about to do something drastic to a character? Me and my rp buddy would create the entire thing before hand sometimes and stop between and tell each other "omg say that" xD its fun that way

Oh lord I haven't roleplayed in a few months. I roleplayed with my bff and a random person we met like a few days ago so my friend and I were our ocs while the other person was bonnie from fnaf. So well all three of us where role playing and it was an equal share of all three of us but then I changed into one of my other characters for around 3 mins, and well I changed back to the oc I was before but after I changed from the back-up oc to the main oc the bonnie character stopped including me in the role play and only played with my friend so that friend I will call her 'D' so D tried to add me back to the role play but bonnie kept ignoring me and tried only playing with D. So the role play he wanted to do with D was a relationship so D went along with it while also trying to add me back to the role play but Bonnie kept ignoring me so then D and I left the game and started playing a different game and didnt talk about it much. Ok sorry for my long mess of a rant, Bye.

5:42 literally one of my friends One time I was rp’ing with someone and it actually lasted a long time but for some reason they just started focusing to much on the ships instead of the actual characters and shiz it got super annoying cause they also made to many op characters. Plus they broke the rules of the actual rp universe and said “hey I want ___ to do ___” every time we would rp. So I just stopped rp’ing with them P.s don’t be that person

Your pet peeve number 1 hit me reeeeeeally hard. It's the main reason why I stopped roleplaying all those years ago. There was this girl on DA that I originally had a really fun time Roleplaying with but that was the only thing she ever wanted to do. I tried to talk to her and get to know her but every time she tried to turn our normal conversation into a new roleplaying session. I tried to tell her that it was too much for me and that I wanted us to become friends and not just RP buddies. She usually said sorry and promised that she would not do it again but every time I woke up there was a new wall of text in my DA inbox. It also didn't help that I always had to RP as the main characters while she got to RP as her OC's. In the end, I started giving her excuses for why I could not RP with her that day and in the end, I stopped talking to her altogether.

One time i was roleplaying with my friend my oc met a female and then after a couple of minutes my friend's oc said to my oc "you were blushing" when i only said " 'oh,h-h-..h-hay" he said nervously

One of my RP pet peeves are people who shoves in rps where you're not allowed to or tries to force people to rp. I remember one time in an amino I help run someone joining one of the chats that where made just for people who wanted to talk, and it specifically said no rping in both the title and the description. This person just went straight to rping, and their character already broke so many of our rules. When told to stop they insulted us for not wanting to RP and tried to continue. I ended up having to kick them out of the chat and they complained to one of the other staffs in the amino. This wasn't my only experience with people like that.

I use these types of RP forums(?), for an example: non-literate, which means to usually post one or two liners. semi-literate, which means to send semi-long posts. And lastly, literate, which is to send long posts. Not the best explanation, I admit

Most play by post role plays (Writing) takes place on RP forums custom websites or websites like Proboards Jcink etc.

ngl a few days ago, one of my closest friends and i tried to start a 1x1 rp. problem is, i was basically the one driving the entire story. my friend's character never really contributed to anything, other than maybe choosing a path to take in a cave or helping a character get unstuck from somewhere (honestly those were the only two things he actually did tbh). the roleplay ended off early because i felt bad about piloting the entire story on my own

Oh my god these are all my pet peevs too... I'm naturally someone who has a lot of ideas all the time so people latch onto me for content and burn me out. That's why I've come down to just roleplaying with limited key friends who I trust and are also very patient, fair, and come up with their own ideas in response to mine.

I hate when people I KNOW are interesting roleplay absolute brick wall conversationalists. it's so boring and makes me disappointed

My rp pet peeves are 1. I rp smut a lot and it just gets on my nerves when they're not realistic like 'they get pleasure right away' cause that's just not how it works especially for their first time 2. When they shoot down all my ideas to make the rp interesting so we just go like 30+ messages of 'they smiled' or 'they talked' cause jut it gets boring 3. When they rp in script form. I just find it annoying 4. They take 15+ minutes for every reply

interesting, I always referred to what you call "longform rp" as "fully literate" rp. although I might start using your name for it now (as that is the type I usually do) because it sounds cooler (: maybe its just the different rp cultures and terms from different sites that we usually use?

nsfw is also a sort of pet peeve for me, i'm very vulgar but when it comes to nsfw rp my mind goes 'no that's embarrassing' and then i stare at my phone contemplating whether or not to answer

I've roleayed before and trust me, my experiences were weird with people putting their fetishes in the roleplay like inflation, feet, and RAPE YES. RAPE At that point I never like to RP with strangers

Heck I do more long form paragraph like most of the time. Honestly my way of writing shifts during the rp depending on the material I have to respond with or how detailed I feel I want to go. Really I find there is only one rule that comes to me when I roleplay and that is provide something to react to. Like it’s hard to react to someone saying ‘character walks into house’ or something and my character is in a different place and was set up in a different place. So really for me the length of a reply is unimportant as long as there is substance in that reply to actually be able to play off of. I also hate just one sentence roleplays though that may be because I’ve never been in a good one and so I’ve had a bad experience with them. Most of the time when I rp like that the person is really inconsiderate of what is happening and it’s quite annoying. Pfft okay found out a pet peeve of mine! When I start a rp or reply to an rp and the person does their own thing. Like what?? For example I may say something along the lines of “character walks up to your character and starts talking to them” and they would be like “character frolics in a field alone.” Or they won’t react to something a character does and it’s not like they are having their character ignore the other characters it’s more like they act like my character didn’t do anything! Heck it’s frustrating!

i hate it when people just "heal" grave injuries or illnesses that have been stated to be incurable by spell or stuff and this has happened to me before because i was using my character who can cast a spell that unlocks stuff and it went like this Me: *casts unlocking spell* Person 1: *reflects it back* Me: *my body unlocks itself, i suddenly solidify and fall limp, i cant move or speak and it seems that this cant be fixed by mere healing spells* Person 2: *heals my character* Me: but this cant be fixed easily Person 2: but im an arch angel wizard i can do this easily Me: ???

I did one creepypasta roleplay like five years ago and it was really fun, but I didn't entirely understand how to do it so I haven't roleplayed since lol

That thing about the character KNOW IT ALL situation is happening to me right now Me and my 2 friends are doing a pokemon RP, so, lemme put the scene of what happened but with my own words: Vida (me): (Hey, i have an idea, what about my character Grove gets a crush on Winter after he becomes a grovyle too?) I have a friend who has a borderline fetish... .....it’s a borderline fetish of fucking. childbirth. CHILDBIRTH. I shit you not. Her OC is always the female, My OC is always the male, It’s always a ship roleplay, And it’s so fucking bland. No matter what somehow her OC ends up getting knocked up and then my OC has to care for her OC. While her OC is being ‘strong’ and she’s trying to have HER OC, who is PREGNANT, to do EVERYTHING. IMPORTANT. Like if it’s a lab roleplay and our OCs have escaped, It’s always HER character that’s working, It’s always HER character that somehow ends up getting injured. Like, *severely.* Almost fatally. And it’s just boring as fuck at this point. What do I do?

Tbh i Love roleplaying. It can be about anything and its fun! You can be someone Else for some time and do things that you couldnt do irl. It also makes me forget all my worries and problems for a while, wich is a Good thing since i tend to worry about things too much.

I just realized I roleplay A LOT! Well,I may aswell show you one of my pet peeves for roleplay. Well, tell. Not show. I myself hate people who use * . I know hate is a strong word so...dislike. I do long form rps sometimes, and I do it on a game called roblox. Yes,roblox is for teeny weeny children. Most of the times I tend to school the kids who don't understand anything i'm making my character do. Another pet peeve are people that annoy you while you're trying to do an event / private roleplay with a friend. These people are mostly like: (I'm giving a dog example) "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" Yeah,that is so weird. I always they're on crack or something. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people don't use proper grammar. Like, just make you characters talk correctly. Express what you character is doing/feeling. I roleplay like, how you would right of book. Sometimes when people roleplay they do it and it doesn't make any sense, I just ugh hate it.

I love playing D&D, and the one thing that pisses me off more than anything is when people think they know my characters better than me. Like bitch, this character is my child I made them from scratch, you only know what I let you know about them. I put a lot into every character I use for D&D and give them a fleshed out personality, and every time I make a decision I ask myself, what would my character do and why? (which I feel anyone who rps should do) so when people say "your character wouldn't do that" I am like actually insulted.

I hate it in roleplays where players know something *secret* is going on so somehow the character does. One time I was in a warrior roleplay and my character was having a secret chat with some other person, we were discussing a cat named Willowfern I think. The person playing Willowfern saw that and made Willowfern, who was a medicine cat caring for a cat, instantly be like "oh i need to find more cobwebs bai" and instantly somehow go to the spot like NO ItS sUpPoSEd tO bE A seCrEt

When I role play I hate when a person I wasn’t roping with responds with my charters name Like for example I’m role play and my charters name is joy and then another person comes in I haven’t meant and says hi joy how are you and I’m just how do you know my name and there like I’m magic duh It just annoys me and that story actually happened to me in a rp

Honestly I do both Semi-lit and script form. I just don't like over powerful characters and the concept of murdering one another.

So my main character has an antagonist who is her father, right? He’s completely psychotic (though sociopathic at the same time?) and he’s very moody (not bipolar, though very close) He’s known to be one of those most dangerous men on earth because he has great skill with a sword, gun, etc etc.. And so this role player I’m playing with has a character who’s the “god of assassination” or something and he can easily shatter every bone in my antagonist’s body?? Thus ending the plot so suddenly?? It makes me mad when people don’t respect the powers your characters come with, an automatically think they can just kill them. That’s why _if_ i ever role play, it will most likely not be canon in their actual story.

My pet peeve: Making my character the damsel in distress. This is happening so much that it gets annoying, because I have several characters who have strength and can defend themselves but there are dudes who never let her do anything.

I remember a big group RP I was in once. Everyone was really good about it for the most part- nobody was godmode, everyone was pretty chill (aside from a few lil spats), and it was all fun. Except for one incident I vividly remember. another rper tried to have their character rape mine. So I just bluntly replied "Nah * denies * ". He keeps at it, so I once again deny, and type in ooc that I'm not comfortable with this and to cut it out. Homeboy keeps trying, so one of the mods gives him a stern warning. He gets all pissed and chews the two of us out for "ruining the fun". So he gets banned. Made some super long DA journal about how we're all elitists and blah blah blah. So me and the mod both comment saying exactly _why_ he got booted from our rp group. After that, there weren't any more posts on that account. Guess homeboy can't take people pulling shit on him without consent lmao.

I used to have a real people pleasing problem, so I would just... rp whatever people wanted me to. This included horrible stuff like incest that I was really not comfortable with, but if you pressured me I'd do it. I used to rp Stan from Gravity Falls and this one person wanted me to do nsfw with their Wendy and I didn't want to- but they kept pushing and pushing and I hated feeling like I was disappointing people so I did it and I hated every second of it it was so bad. If someone fucking says no, then stop trying to get them to rp your gross fetish shit, is all I'm saying kbsjjhvvhjv

My Pet Peeve Is when sombody try's to kill my character or If I am In a Rp with sombody and a random person comes over and says *Stabs* or says *Knocks out and Kills* I didn't come here to die straight away I don't mind If a there character Is a bully or If they hurt my character then but I hate when they go around trying to kill peoples characters like then I don't know what to do except leave because I don't want to say dodges or make my character overpowered but I don't want my character to straight up die either there Is no way to win with this some people don't mind but most people don't like It when people do that

I have a role play story to share. There was this chat on the My Hero Academia Amino that I joined for role playing. (Isn't related, but I was Tsuyu Asui.) It is was around Christmas time so me and the people in the group did things related to the holidays. We were all having fun and goofing off then suddenly, with NO context, a character not from the MHA universe (It wasn't an OC either) just barges in and starts a fight in the role play. Everyone left the chat a few days later because of that guy.
