To an extent. No team is winning without an alpha dog. Without a main guy. The purpose of a role player is to do the little things & make the plays or shots they're responsible to make. Overall, they're supposed to take pressure off of the star players.
Facts the playoffs basically shows what the role players were supposed to be doing in the regular season but unfortunately role players don’t take regular season as serious
And most role players are good or ok or serviceable at one thing at most, shooting, rebounding, energy, etc. we call a lot of players 3&D but for the most part they’re just 3
