I love Brandon trying to mask his disgust with Rashad being rated higher than him rookie year😂😂 and the icing on the cake was Lex instigating it with the, “Ok, Rashad” while looking Brandon straight in his eye and smiling😂😂😂😂
I remember Brandon Jennings in 2K10. He got a huge update after that 50+ point game. The difference between Live and 2K was Live was more arcade style and 2K was more of a simulation with better visuals.
Jennings a 64 is CRAZY 😂 funny things is in the new 2ks the players on old rosters some how get better every year 😭 kyrie ain’t touch a 90 for like 13 2ks but on the old rosters in the new game he like a 96
I love this podcast. It reacts to EVERYTHING related to basketball lol. Good shit, one of my favorite players turned into one of my favorite podcasters. Big ups to Agent Zero
@@SnowNasty had Japanese only version of NBA In The Zone 2005 and they did. Sig celebrations and all 1st game to do it. Shaq walk VC throwing up Q dawg sign Ben Wallace Big Ben sig etc sig dunks and moves.
@@willyjakkz Man I thought I was the only one who remembered that game. My cousin put me on to that game and I remember they had the Antoine Walker shimmy in that game too lmao. That game was ahead of its time.
Competitors will compete no matter what. I don't think players care deep down in a vacuum but since it's in comparison to their peers, it consciously or subconsciously very important. Probably motivates them to play harder against the players they feel they deserve to be above
@@jayjohnson7646 hell yeah one of my favorite 2Ks. 2K1 2K7 2K8 and 2K9 and college hoops 2K8 were some of my favorite games. NBA live when they have dunking contest went so hard too
Gilbert Arenas always one of my favorite PGs in 2K myteam. Always so well rounded. Shoots threes, dribbles, dunks and defends . Great cards usually for Gil in myteam.
To be honest I knew 2k was good in 2k6 with shaq all my friends was on that instead of live we haven’t stopped since last good real 2k in my opinion was 2k 10 with Kobe on the cover
I switched when NBA 2k11 came out because it had the Jordan game play and the graphic were finally looking better, player movement and all that. NBA Live kinda stayed the same during that time.
I remember 2k2 making Kenyon Martin rated 78 while all of the starting role players were 80 or higher. Granted, later on the standard for role players afterwards became 70 and KMart became 84 or higher.
I remember buying NBA and NFL 2k5 back when ESPN had a big hand in they development from GameStop for like $3 a piece and it me feeling like Lupin lol two of the greatest games I ever played that nobody was playin fr at the time because of how cold Live was at the time especially with the dunk contest being introduced.
I'm genuinely surprised in a world where these ratings will literally be updating a week after the season starts that people actually care where players are ranked before release
How old are you lol you a dam lie I definitely been playing since 1999 and it was plenty of people playing before 2010 Bec 2 k was always better then live and this coming from a guy that played live 95 and up I use to play live all dam day it wasn't touching 2k once I got Dreamcast live was over bruh
2K introduced signature styles for individual NBA players. Even tho live was still more popular every player had the same shot and dribble style. 2k introduced signature shots, dribble styles and a more “realistic” sim style gameplay experience
That's how fans from the 1990s 2000s connected with their favorite player. For myself, I would try to go back and replicate the game or just dominate with my favorite player if they lose.
They were updating ratings at that time, soon and Brandon dropped that 55 his rating was mid 80’s I use to kill people with that man. Left hand assassin.
Bronny did get a standard 2nd round deal, but how often does a team sign a 2nd rounder before they maneuver free agency or even sign their 1st round pick?
