Hello fellow DJ owner. I've owned it for almost 2 and a half years now. The flutted bezel has not lost its luster and still some brightly. The jubilee bracelet takes scratches well and they are not obvious. The bracelet is still tight. Only sign of aging on mine is the clasp. A lot of hairline scratches from desk wearing.
@@hand.wound.horology Thanks! I’d love to see you make a video of it. Not many people make contents of reviewing their DJ after a few years of ownership. Like their thoughts and all. Would love to hear yours and see your watch. Cheers!
I have an earlier version of that watch bought in the early 1960s. It was Called Oyster Perpetual Date. Sixty years on on it works fine and has never had any work done on it.
No offense, but this is almost a 5 minute video and we don't even see the watch until 3.5 minutes, more realistically at 4 minutes, into the video. I don't understand why You Tubers (you're not the only one) love to highlight the box and warranty card, then show a quick glance at the star of the show, the actual watch. Rant over. Beautiful Datejust. Enjoy.
Thanks for your feedback. I tried as best as possible to capture the unboxing experience. This is the 2nd video I made. My more recent videos unveil the watches a lot earlier on. Thanks for watching 👌
