Rolex datejust II long term review and commentary 

It’s the perfect Rolex. I have the 1999 datejust and it’s completely different. The build is very flimsy compared to the 2015 model.

Beautiful and classic. But the polished center links and clasp really attract scratches and it is painful to see it scratched.

Finally! You did a review of one of your watches! I own the 116333 DJ2 TT with the Wimbledon Dial... I have owned the watch for 2 years, and I can’t see myself trading it for any other DJ model! It is so versatile and definitely hits above its weight class! I also own the Rolex 116610LV Submariner “Hulk” Which was purchased 5 months ago at the AD... And I love my Sub and DJ combination... (I also own the Ceramic Daytona Panda Dial, and 2 Patek Phillipe a 5980, and Aquanaut 5968...) Please make more thorough watch reviews!

I could never pull off wearing a large two-tone fluted Rolex like that to work, but it doesn’t look too flashy or over-the-top on your wrist. Anyways, have you ever considered any of the following: 1. Something from A. Lange & Sohne’s Saxonia line. 2. Cartier Tank Americana or a JLC Reverso Tribute ..and some casual pieces: 4. Rolex Explorer II (Polar dial) 5. Tudor Pelagos or North Flag Grand Seiko also has some nice offerings. Anyways, thank you for sharing.
