Great watch! I own the 2008 version and have had no issues with bracelet and case wobble. I removed the divers extension link and it fits perfectly. This piece to me is the apex of Rolex tool watch design at its best.
Thanks for the review. I have ordered a 126660 from one of the UK grey dealers. Hopefully it will arrive in a few days and your videos have helped pass the time and reaffirmed my purchase!
Fantastic watch👍 I have the original Black dial version Mk1 , the one which JC actually wore in his descent. It’s amazing how many RU-vidrs think he wore the blue and black version. Also Paul Thorpe started the discontinuation rumour, it will not be discontinued
@@MrNegroni To be honest im a Big guy.. one of the comments that i got when i posted it is that it looked like a 36mm date just on my wrist....hahahahaha. I will use it as i love it... but i am mega carefull with my watches so it will be babied lol...Kind regards.... Nice video :-)
This watch is fantastic; perhaps the most technically and horologically exquisite diver ever made. But it’s big and bulky. If only Rolex made a diver, with helium escape valve, that is 2mm thinner, 1mm smaller in case diameter, lighter, and better proportioned for daily wear....
Really nice piece. A desirable watch now but I really do think that's it an absolutely sleeper that will become very collectable once it's inevitably discontinued. Congratulations!
@@bigmacdaddy1234 Right, I meant in a relative sense of current percent premium grey market versus list considering where it could go if/when discontinued.
Great review of a great watch, I have the 2021 non Deep-Blue (not a fan of JC really) which hasn't got the green 'DEEPSEA" (it's in white like the rest of the text) or the blue/black (not gradient, just black) dial and I love it and wear it everyday. A big wrist presence and you have to be careful not to bang it into door frames (house would shake :-) ) or the such but so far I haven't.
Are you gonna keep both Rolex watches? Your thoughts are very interesting as i went with my watches the opposite way. I started with the big 44/45 mm ones and i went down to a 36mm Explorer. It's so light and comfortable, i don't see myself going back to an automatic that's over 42mm, they're just too heavy and chunky for my taste.
I have one . It is big , bad and in your face awesome ! You gotta be the right person to pull it off and not be afraid of having people constantly ask you about your amazing watch . Submarinas are everywhere but you never see another one of these. Often I have to go into the whole history of the watch .
