Now as it has been 3 years since this review, are you still happy with the quality? Filson quality is very well known, but not much info of the BW after some real use. They say it is good quality but missing the first hand experience / reviews of the actual owners. Thanks!
Omega asked Daniel Craig to help them design this version of the Seamaster 300 (No Time to Die). The bezel is made out of aluminium with a matte finish as Craig said he didn’t want a ceramic bezel because he wanted this watch to be understated to reflect a military watch style. Because ceramic would be too reflective/shiny and no military watch has reflective material. The other reason for aluminium used on the bezel is because the paint applied to it will allow for patina to take effect adding to individuality of each watch over time. Again the case back is solid because military issue watches are never manufactured with a clear case back. This version is COSC certified meaning that it is actually capable of a dive depth of 425m, 125m beyond the 300m rating. I think some research would help better inform your viewers.
The Tudor BB Line is so well-built. And very sharp. I have the GMT and love it. It pairs well with the Chrono panda. The white dial and black accents are such an outstanding and elegant and sporty look.
The break in period on these was hell and now after being worn in the soles are pretty hard. Took one road trip in them and the heel is worn on one side (my right foot on the gas peddle). Not to mention that for the price the suede isn't treated. Look great though!
The right is fake. The font style is different. Look at the letter “S” (for example- in the word “DEEPSEA”), the real one doesn’t have an arch at the top and bottom curves of the letter, whereas the fake one has a standard rounded style “S” letter
For whatever it’s worth ( given that this video is 2 years old today), I have experienced using neatsfoot oil, by accident, to make a stiff leather bag to a pliable one. It may make the leather around the ankle area soft and pliable to mould natural contour which is the chief source of discomfort. Cant guarantee discoloration or desired results though✌️
@@renishii6834 I actually wore these for the first time in two years last week again. Thanks for the advice and I will definitely google the oil to see where I can get it!
@@MrNegronikindly read more articles about the product as apparently it may cause darkening on leathers and thread issues ( unless deliberately avoided 🙂). Thread with caution 😄. Good luck and thank you for your informative videos.
Be careful w your verbiage. Mk1/2/3 Deepseas refers to the dial changes which all belong to the first gen 116660 and can be looked up. But when you talk about the watch itself with the new changes to the bracelet, well that isn't the Mk2, that is the second generation. 1st gen is 116660 which has Mk1/2/3 dials and the second generation reference 126660 which you have here. New movement, case design, bracelet and clasp. -And as I write this we're on the 3rd gen Mk2 as Rolex removed Sea-Dweller from the dial but still has reference 136660. Love this comparison.
@@smoothcap1 the suede pair definitely has more room and feels almost like half a size bigger. On the other hand, the Boston feels half a size smaller. I’d say the unlined Cordovan is right in the middle.
I notice the sole on my new pair isn’t flat. The middle touches the ground and the sides kind of warp up. So when I’m standing I can somewhat cradle or rock side to side. Is yours like that? I’m wondering if mine is a defect or if it’ll flatten out eventually?
The guys makes fair points. I love the look of the watch, but I didn't get it for the reasons he mentioned; no ceramic bezel, no sapphire back, etc. Shame, because it does look good. It would be nice if they made a non james bond version using the same colors, but not titanium
The pair on the right at least are factory seconds that you got at a heavy discount, this should probably be mentioned before pointing out defects? As for the feminine cut? Aussies are manly as fk, we can carry it haha
Nakamoto means “central one” Satoshi means “intelligent” TOR was developed by Navy & SHA-256 by NSA. Cmon guys even Ross ulbritch defense team said they thought nsa illegally spied on them to get his ip. They’ve been around. Think of “Crypto AG” psyop of the century look it up. They have back doors to everything. Btc has two hashes one for u one for the block header, no one knows how the sha tech works “it’s confidential” it’s patent by nsa 🤣
