Congrats to this cool watch and interesting story! I also told my AD to take me from the list for the Pepsi after I bought several (non Rolex) watches and being on that list for years. The AD answered in a polite way that I have priority for the Pepsi now. Though I would now get it within months but this was in February and I'm still waiting. (now for almost 5 years). They won't see me as a customer again...
This is a sign of the times. Many ADs lost a lot of customers due to their arrogant and condescending demeanor and now they’re scrambling to build rapport and win back those disillusioned customers. The watch market is in a slump and customers are back in control. Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy it in good health. Personally I would have told them to F-off, but I can understand you had already invested a lot towards acquiring your grail watch.
I just told my AD I’d like a Pepsi for Christmas this year. I hope it comes through. I picked up a 126500ln panda in march. Loving it! My AD has been very good to me. I only buy ss sports models and never had any issues getting what I ask for. Batgirl, 116500ln black, Kermit etc Congrats on your new Pepsi! Wear in good health. Subscribed
Congratulations on getting your watch. Ihave been really lucky with my family owned AD . I got the Pepsi from mine just before Christmas last year. And I am no way a huge spender
Great. Congratulations. Yes from my other AD, the family owned AD, I also got the blue Skydweller and the new Daytona within less than 1 years after inquiring about thise two models. Definitely the better relationship than to a bog global AD
Congrats! Although these models will remain highly sought after but I also feel they understand the economy is cooling and what happened is not the Rolex experience. You give someone a sought after piece and you’ll make a customer for life. It sounds like they have a CRM system and probably flagged your profile to alert a lost customer so they can look into it.
Yes, I believe they checked the CRM for local customers who were strong buyers but then stopped as it became silly in regards to treatment. Main reason to go back there was that the new Rolex Manager was very nice, polite and welcoming on the phone. He clearly is on another mission than the old management. But yes, times have obviously changed but still, a Pepsi will also be special I believe.
Congrats and interesting story. Not sure if its a good or frustrating story. They screwed you over and just randomly tried to make it right. Its such a random act and really speaks about how mysterious these ADs can be. Will never understand them and really frustrating that there is no real clear path to obtaining your grail watches. I basically bought whatever watch my AD offered and never sold one. But he offers them to me at such a snails pace so how am I suppose to build a history. He says I need to buy 4 or 5 watches before we can talk about the Pepsi but he only offers me a watch like once a year! Keep in mind they only sell Rolex so extremely difficult to get anything...
I really don’t understand why so many people are commenting and complaining about the AD story. The main takeaway is it’s very personal and dependable on the local management. I never felt pressured to buy anything I didn’t want. I simply made it very clear that im a watch enthusiast and collector and id like to know how to get the Pepsi. I will share some more insights on my other much better relationship with a family owned AD. With the family owned AD everything was much more personal, close and „normal“. No „you need to buy this or that to get that“. I got even harder to get Rokex watches in the absolute peak of the hype from them and never had to wait longer than 6-12 months. So please to everyone who watches this, don’t give me or us your frustrations and hate. It’s not wanted nor needed here. Sorry for the rant 😊🙏
Wow! This must really be a dream come true! My SA actually allocated a YM Everose Rolesor to me 3 weeks ago (with no purchase history). I rushed down immediately after work. I guess luck plays at times.
Beautiful and congrats on a grail Rolex piece for most, but I have to say after hearing your entire ordeal just to get this ONE watch and going through all those hoops is what is so off-putting about the whole game not just with Rolex but with the ADs and the different boutiques. I really hope the watches you've bought before this Pepsi are the ones you really wanted for the collection and not just fodder pieces just so you can eventually get this one. I'm currently on the "list" for this 126710BLRO Pepsi on a jubilee myself after having bought a DJ36, Explorer I and Submariner and I'd be honestly surprised if I ever hear from my AD ever again (my first initial AD also left the company so I have a new one who allocated me the Submariner).
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Did you want the whole video and listen to the entire story? If so, then you realize that I never bought a watch I didn’t want and never begged first anything. I confronted the manager onece! And then I left the AD relationship completely. Up until that moment I only had great experiences, also with this specific AD. Once it becomes stupid I stopped. So I really don’t get your comments in that regard
Congratulations. Just discovered the channel. Two ideas for future videos 1) Please do a SOTC sharing a short story about each watch in collection. 2) Watches that you aiming to have during the next 3-5 years. Cheers.
@@alimurtaza4110alright 😊. Thanks for the good idea. I will have to find out how to put pictures in a video and then also have the sound on. As this is just a hobby I don’t have the full knowledge how to make such videos.
I didn’t make any losses as I got a discount and I still have those watches (most of the at least). I really don’t understand why so many people call that „losses“…
@@uhrenglueck2587unless if they gave you a huge discount in the first place, I'm sure you'd realize a loss if you tried selling those Tudor omega Panerai iwc.
Very interesting story you had me listening for the next sequence. Anyway congratulation It is an awesome timepiece with very useful functions, wear it in great health. Thanks for sharing
