Rolex Sea Dweller 43 ref 126600 6 month review and catch up 

This is the best looking Rolex I’ve seen so far. It just screens ROLEX in a style and with so much presence. On your wrist, well, I can easily say it looks amazing. I’ve never seen it looking that good on a wrist before. Thanks for the video.

I think Rolex has created a problem with the SD43. This watch is so perfect in its proportions. the wider bracelet makes the "oyster" shoulders slimmer and more esthetic. a ceramic Submariner, on the other hand, looks like a brick. The larger diameter and its proportions to the height are estethically correct in contrast to the deepsea. Incidentally, the SD 43 is the same height as the 40mm SD 4000. If you got used wearing the SD43, a Daytona feels like a ladies' watch and a Submariner looks disproportionate. at least that's how it has been for me since I wore my 126600.

I recently bought an Explorer II Polar 42mm, that is great for somebody with "our wrist size". I believe that might be more appropriate for you, rather than the 40mm ... Anyway, love the SD, hope you enjoy it for many more years to come.

I have had my 43 Red line anniversary Sea Dweller since March 2018. I love mine as well. It is as accurate as heck. About + 2seconds a day. I have seen another one. Mine is keeper. Going nowhere for the time being. Enjoy yours as I will mine. By the way, I left the extension on.

Late to the party, but I'm just looking at the 43 Red Line now! Looks fantastic and a lot more manageable than the Jimmy Cameron. Hope you still have it!

I bought the SD43 about a month ago , traded my Deepsea 116660 in for it which i liked but felt it was a little too thick especially the Sapphire which annoyed me the most on the Deepsea , just a little too overkill for my taste even though i love dive watches and you could argue the Deepsea is the ultimate dive watch but i just wanted something with better proportions and felt the SD43 was that watch being a touch smaller. I have owned Ceramic Subs and GMT's previously and I am a similar build and have the same size wrist as Michael S , haven't made my mind up yet on whether i prefer the SD43 to the 40mm Subs/GMT's , Time will tell .Good vids.

i removed the divers extention and also moved the half link to the 6 oclock side as the wrist moves more there ( left handed wearer) and its so so much a better fit

I don't think it looks too small. Definitely smaller but not too small. Looks good. I agree with the good look of the white face. Bravo!

Just tried on the deep sea the other day. After wearing my Omega PO and my Doxa 1500T, it felt fine. But I would opt for the 43. I need to decide on the steel or gold/steel version.

Well done. I've the rolesor. A beast. The cyclops was absent on the earlier due to depth resistance issues apparently. I love the 60min bez. Pops!

I removed the diver extension on my SD43 and DBlue and they wear much more comfortably. As for owning a Submariner, LVC, DBlue and a SD43 in one collection ... IMO the Submariner is THE quintessential Rolex diver and makes for the perfect Rolex diver quartet.

Hi I’ve just acquired one of these beautiful watches from my AD they insisted on taking all the protective covers and the bezel cover and also kept the warranty card for 12 months and did the same on the GMT master 11 bi metal root beer I got last year 🤔

Trust me remove the divers extension, it was bugging me and now the watch feels more balanced and comfortable on the wrist!!

Well first of all great and different review! I can tell your really passionate about watches especially Rolex’s. I have a omega PO orange strap watch and I wanted to add a Rolex ( my first ) and eventually start a collection of watches really and your review has made me message goldsmiths straight away to purchase one as soon as I get back to UK as Im currently working offshore. So my question is do think when I buy the SD50 that even if I wear it alot and say with minimum signs of wear after say a year or two ( always taking care of it of course ) do you think it will be worth the same price I bought it for ( looking at £8,750 ) or might I lose money on it? I see your logic getting rid of the no date , I think you'll miss it though . I suppose it's easier to get back a no date than a hulk so if you miss it too much down the line you can always buy back .

Get well soon mate. Where did u buy the 126600 from? I like this video because you are bit far away from the watch so I can actually see it on your hand and how it looks on a once hand. Rolex says, "You will be able to spot a Rolex 20ft away". You also took it off and put it on, which showed the contrast between the two watches. Rolex 126600 is definitely the best choice.
