What’s amazing about GP is long time ago… like early 1800’s they said they needed to market their watches and one brother went east and another brother went west. And that’s how they grew as a brand. The brand name is also a love story. Super interesting history with this brand. Worth a deeper dive into. ❤

I personally think your perfect one watch is a 5 digit sub date (black bezel), “M serial”. You could also easily pull off the new 12 series Subs, but I know you don’t like ceramics. I see everyone is guessing what you bought, so ill join. You said it’s something youve never had and u also made comments about yacht master so im ruling that out. I also dont see you saying an explorer 1 is a watch to wear sparingly as special. Im going batman.
Batgirl 👍 I’ve always been team oyster but when I recently tried on both oysters and jubilee Batman the jubilee looked better on my wrist so I’m now converted.
The Apple watch is a different headspace for sure. Would be cool if you did a brief one year review at some point to let one know about your experience over time. My sticking point is battery life on smartwatches. I personally just love the simple functionality of glancing at a mechanical for reading time.
