I don`t care what the "experts" say, i buy watches for me and the two tone sub/126613LN is to me the best looking of them all. The way the light plays off the knurling on the bezel.... So that`s what i got when i was buying a Submariner and f**k if it goes up or down in value. That shit is for peasants to worry about
@@FootageFactory Of course! Black dial, two-tone (: and I use it every day at the office, the beach or the pool with the kids, on a boat, working on cars or riding a motorcycle.
To answer my own question in a way, I was on the list for any steel Sub for a year and told my AD I'd consider a Bluesy. 3 weeks later, I got the call.
What an awesome review absolutely love mine 116613LN, the gold is out of this world, not the most discreet watch but that’s why I have the 216570 Polar dial Explorer 42 to compliment it!
Well said. I have the 116613LB better known as BLUESY. This one and the one your video are the first generation of the ceramic bezel, AR coating underneath the sapphire crystal, solid links, glidelock clasp and the now-discontinued Maxi case. I have purchased the new BLACK on BLACK SUBMARINER 126610LN. However, it has double AR coating on a sapphire crystal which all the new ones are subject to scuffing or scratching. The watch case maybe a little longer however, the lugs are thinner most likely because of the bracelet a little bit wider from the top. So in actuality is basically the same. As to the 116613LB it has GOLD TEXTS on the DIAL NOT PAINTED WHITE TEXTS ON THE DIAL as the NEW SUBMARINERS have.
let’s be real though, how many sub owners are divers. 🤣🤣 And think how everyone freaks about scratching these “tool watches”. Hey, I’m guilty of it myself. I’ve always liked the Rolesor models (I own a Bluesy). Also, I like all the precious metal models as well but those, IMO, are less practical to wear but still on my bucket list. And true, the Rolesor models have had a decline in demand but I think it’s because people are swayed by popular opinion and don’t make the purchasing decision solely on what they like. Don’t buy a to impress someone else (that makes you a moron)...it defeats the purpose (self fulfillment) and you’ll never be satisfied with your purchase - buy what YOU like.
@@beri232 I could buy a solid gold if I wanted knowing that it only has less than 10k or solid gold value makes be buy reps and just spend the rest on gold bullion call me a Jew if you want I don’t see the strategy in it though lol....I’ll invest where it counts remember one thing the rich don’t spend top dollar on luxury items that’s the poor mans game they ride around in normal cars wearing normal clothes cause they know they’re rich those who gotta look rich really don’t got 💩
