You don’t understand this watch’s true beauty until you see it in person. videos and pictures don’t do it justice. I don’t normally go for two tones, but this watch is the perfect balanced watch
I got my 116613LB almost 3 years ago, and I got more compliments on this compare to the Hulk. Congrats! The 126613LB does look nicer, I am glad Rolex change the case shape to make it better.
Killer dial perfect for a sunny day at the beach. Sure, those polished gold surfaces will patina over time but this watch was made to be worn and admired.
Congrats! Its a stunning piece, lovely. I like how you remark the lucky you have been of purchasing the watch in the middle of the pandemic, that shows your honesty and effort. Enjoy it
Boom 💣! Congratulations Chris👏. It's a stunning watch👌💯, wear it in good health👍❤️! I was also extremely lucky to score this watch from an AD in September 2020, between two lockdowns. The SA told me I was the very first customer to get this reference where I live 🇪🇸, no previous purchase history, really felt surreal and very humbling too. I managed to get a little discount via a gift card for the next purchase, worth €500, better than nothing. The watch is the most beautiful piece I've ever seen IRL🤩. My jaw dropped at the AD, I wasn't expecting that at all😲. The dial has to be one of the most interesting blue dials there is, to me at least. It's a deep blue full of nuances indoor and it transforms into a beautiful vivid cobalt blue in the sun💙. I also love the way the yellow gold comes into play with the blue💛💙💛💙. This is my absolute number 1 favourite bimetal watch. I was never a TT fan to begin with until I met the Bluesy and it completely changed my mind. My humble Rolex collection is now made of the YM40 pt dial, SD43 and TT Bluesy. The classy Sub, super Sub and showy Sub as I like to call them😁. Merry Christmas!!! 🍾🥂🎁❄️☃️
My AD found me one of these. I currently own the 2019 bluesy. After careful evaluation with both watches in my hand, I decided to pass on the opportunity to purchase the newer model. It appeared a bit dressier than my watch. The face had a little bit more personality to it in light. It felt just a tad bigger, probably a bit prettier than the 2019 predecessor, but at the end of the day I decided to pass. My 2019 bluesy will do just fine and frankly looked a little more masculine and sporty. I will say though, it was a difficult decision, but I believe I made the right choice by letting somebody else have the chance to own it. I’m holding out for the Pepsi
Great review!!!!!!! Clear and easy to understand. Lots of really good shots of the watch.i have liked subcribed and will be watching out for more reviews. Loved it. Again great review, Keep up the good work man 👍
I’ve always been unsure about steel and gold . Not because I don’t like the look I love it and this is a stunning piece . I think the possibility of scratches on the gold may mean it wouldn’t get the wear it deserves . I own the no date , a datejust and Op so I’m covered for daily wear . May have to contact my AD and add it to the list as it really is beautiful ..
Congrats! This will be my first Rolex. I was really impressed I joined the waiting list at my AD last June and I got a call 2 weeks ago to take deposit. I will be able to collect next month when jewellers are allowed to reopen because of covid restrictions in the U.K.
Great Show! - may be one of the best presentation of the 'Blusey'. I got my 'Blusey - The Beautiful Beauty' Spring 2019 from a local retail. My arm wrist is large, so I like as large as possible clock
This beautiful 2-tone Bluesy retails today at Authorized Rolex dealers for a brand new watch for $15,600.00. In 2020 it was $14,300.00. It has gone up now by 9%. Surprisingly used models sells for more than new, maybe due to supply and demand. In my opinion it is the most beautiful and classic looking Rolex. I learned that this particular Bluesy model Rolex Submariner Blue Model M126613lB-0002 with the newest 3235 movement and with the 2-tone OysterSteel and 18K gold bracelet is very difficult to find and buy, I am wondering what will its realistic market selling price be for a brand new model if a lucky buyer has the chance to buy it today?
Very awesome! What are your thoughts on getting watch insurance for it? I did not know about this. Also, can you go into the cost of insurance for a watch like that, even if you are not for the insurance. Thanks
I was in the market for a Bluesy right after they switched to the upgraded model. Unfortunately, the changed the dial font to white instead of gold for some reason. To me the dial doesn’t look anywhere near as good as the gold version. I ended up with a 116613LB. Can’t go wrong with either watch though.
I have the Invicta bluesy homage to this one, the 28664 not the older one that looked like a purple dial. It homages perfectly the electric blue dial. It might be an aspirational piece but I think if i'll ever have the money to go Rolex Sub i'll do this one. The two tone gold blue combo looks perfect. Congrats on your watch!!!
That's what I started my collection with 12 yrs ago. I went into business for my self 10 yrs ago and bought the Bluesy as my 10th anniversary memento. I'm not bragging. I just say all this to tell you with hard work and being wise with your money. It is possible!
@@itscomplicatedwatches yea mine is. But NY RSC had it twice and I just got it in May. Hopefully it doesn’t slow down again. Both times it slowed to -30 Sec a day
Just picked up the 2 tone sub from my AD, but I don't fancy it as a daily (originally wanted SS). Should I sell or keep longer-term and bring it out on occasions?
I mean you can make big money flipping it. They're going for 21k used. That's a 6k profit and if you sell it in cash you're not paying tax on anything. If the Rolex market comes down you'd never regret it.
@@TheLumeRoom The solid gold is SOLID, my friend. It's so bad ass. I did think about buying it before my surgery. If you didn't hear about it I encourage you to go check out my latest video. Cheers.
The only thing you forgot the AR coating , is inside and outside on the new one , only inside in the 116613lb if iam not wrong... Best looking rolex watch ever made , i wear one from 2022 , no words for explain...💛💙
The most underrated Sub and way more substantial than the steel versions. That is a sub on steroids. I do agree the highly polished gold center links are easier to scratch but the look compared to the steel versions is just stunning. The rolesor versions got ceramic added on the pins for the bracelett links to increase its durability. Stainless does not have that, but which is quite important as the bracelett does last way longer...
I just purchased mine on eBay for 17k with tax :( But I had to have it Do you weigh the watch with all the links? Cause mine is heavier! Love you videos
I've always wanted to. It's the bond watch from Octopussy I believe. Kojima had one when he was in college I think. They made a re-release but Seiko released it under the "Wired" brand. Big mistake if you ask me. Buying an original just seems to cost a bit too much for a digital.
I actually traded it for a 116710BLNR back then. A big video is upcoming though of how I got something even different now. Gonna be a few weeks though! Sucked though because the 116710BLNR was worth less but the new watch is worth equal. Took some time but the problem has been resolved. I just didn't like two Submariners in the collection. Hope you're well!
OMG I just got my new Sub from my AD yesterday so in away yesterday was a dual unboxing. Best of luck with yours. Mine is the LN. Funny all the fuss about the 1mm increase and I actually think mine fits me better that my Maxi case GMT Master II. Question mine didn't come with the appraisal in the box. Is that an oversight, should I have got one. Should I call my AD and ask? Mine was so new they showed it to me still in the coffin. These bad boys aren't even making it into the show cases. Again much Good luck with your new 👶.
enjoy the tt, until you got an irritating itch after hearing the naysayers always praise the full gold version of it. yep i got myself 116613lb and now i want 126618lb after all the tt hate online.
Go to eBay and type search for the watch, then make eBay show you completed listings. They're still selling for big money. 16k-18k. That's well over retail. Now when I made my video that was when these were selling easily for over 20k. The market has changed some.
I had wore it just today and I noticed 3 things: 1- It's very shiny in person 2- It has a lot of weight to it 3- It's really really sharp and this aspect combined with its weight makes it feels dangerous I'm not joking
I think most people disagree with you especially when you look at which one is worth more on the market but hey, that might mean a great opportunity for you to get the one you like better for a deal!
