Likewise, I have the new 41mm Cermit, I've arranged a swap for the Hulk once border's are open again. I have the 41mm black sub also, so I didn't want two watches nearly the same!
Absolutely wonderful but wholly unobtainable for mere mortals with the money. I have given up asking any AD let alone my local one couldn't treat me with more contempt if he went on a Customer Contempt Intensity Programming Immersion Course. So I bought a super clone of this very model. Mind you if Tudor release a green bezel version of the new Pelagos 39, and I think they will, I'll be hot footing it to my lovely Tudor AD who has treated me very kindly over the past two years.
Excellent review my friend. Would you say the wider bracelet is a deal breaker for you? I’m seriously contemplating this watch but am a bit worried about that wide bracelet. Same wrist size as yours!
Do you prefer this Cermit or the Hulk? I like the aesthetics of the Hulk and the green sunburst dial more. Or do you think the improvements in power reserve and other things make Cermit better?
Just received it. Have an old 40mm no date sub already. At least first day I 100% agree the Bracelet seems slightly to wide for me… definitely notice it…
The new Sub is perfect 40.5 by 12MM thin, beautiful lug bracelet transition and more substantial clasp. Amazing new movement just perfect! I just bought the Mark2 Bezel 126610LV and absolutely love it. The Hulk fits in any collection and it’s an absolute stunner, money no restriction Id own both! Mark1 is also stunning but the two they perfected the bezel
Phenomenal review, Hafiz! The updated movement is much needed, but I can never get over that dimple that appears around the base of the hands in the lacquer dial Rolex watches. I much prefer the sunburst green Hulk, but the Cermit is a rockstar in any collection.
Hey Hafiz! An amazing video again! I like it sooo much! I have both, the Hulk and the new Kermit and the Hulk is a very nice watch no question, but I'm in love with the Kermit. Just a few 0,... millimetres and the watch looks completely fresh and other but still as a Submariner, brillant solution from the designers. By the Hulk the green of the sunburst dial is in some lighting too much green, a little warm green compering the colder green of the bezel, because the green colour on the dial is plated on a gold plate and the warm of the gold comes across the green. By the new Kermit the colour combination black and green is perfect, stunning... for me... 😀
I wonder if the green bezel can be swap to the all black date and no date sub. If so, this will ruin the new kermit place as being the special edition.
@@andrassohajda Imagine in time to come where watch only being sold without papers then one will need to get it verified at RSC. What hassle I am just saying.
H J M - a follow -up . your video, and a couple others were instrumental in my going forward trying to obtain this ROLEX. just a week before Christmas I was offered this piece from the AD . it is a handsome Rolex. be safe. ~ JDS/ CT
This is one I missed but found as I am getting the 126610LV tomorrow. Great review and video. Balanced as always and a reviewer that we can trust to say things as they are without the need for hype or drama - brilliant 👏👏👏
Having owned the LVc for two years I can say confidently the green color on the ceramic bezel is a milky “kelly green” and not a rich green like many photos. Rolex screwed up on the new Sub41LV with removing the rich green sunburst dial and keeping the milky green bezel on the Sub41???? FYI…I ended up selling my original LVC because it was just way too much green and got old after a few years.
@@Jay-xr3sb I think they are. It's marketing genius based as you rightly said on supply and demand but I think they are easily the most desirable watch brand on the planet.
@@galaga8834 desire is manufactured, the product has to be decent but its all hype. If you took the names of the dials we wouldn't all be wearing the sub.
I REALLY really wish the hulk had ar coating. That and a 70 hour power reserve would have made it a perfect watch in my opinion. I wonder if they'll make another green dial LV any time soon.
Excellent tool watch. But it is virtually impossible to buy at AD, and the grey market price is so ridiculous that I simply choose to ignore this Kermit.
Hafiz, terrific as always. Fortunate to own the new Cermit after pining for the Hulk. Both are beautiful but I’ll stick with the Cermit and the more appealing proportions.
Classic and original black can never be surpassed. If you have to have a colour for a dive bezel, blue is better for the marine environment. Colours are after thoughts.
The Hulk had the sunburst dial. The kermit had the luster of the aluminum. This watch really screams Starbucks not kermit to me. That I don't consider a positive. The lugs and bracelet are a big improvement in my opinion. So, you have this conservative looking Starbucks or a black sub that looks exactly like the millions of black subs all around you at the bar or game or wherever you are. Bring back the Hulk.
Nice watch, but the case and bracelet just don't integrate well. Rolex is the last company in the world that still can't get that right. The case and bracelet seem like 2 separate entities in an unhappy marriage asking for a divorce. The oyster style is looking old and bland too. Maybe take a page from the Oris Tt1 bracelet in future wouldn't hurt.
Lol what? Have you ever had one in hand? The oyster is one of the most flexible and comfortable bracelets. It has micro adjust, super tight tolerances etc etc
@@AMogus-jr6qk I own a submariner 41mm sead dweller 43 red and an Explorer 11, 42mm. All less than 2 years old. Yes I have held them in hand as well as many other beautiful and better watches, too many to mention. Kind of know what I'm talking about to share an opinion.
