Hulk's green dial is something special. I'm not against the Kermits, but once you've seen it in person, Hulk is the one and only choice.

Quite agree about the original Kermmie, it looks retro and classy.

Got to be the hulk for me. I love a quirky dial, wether it’s colour, sunburst, meteorite or enamel. Bought mine back in 2014 when nobody wanted one, mainly because it was green. Healthy discount too. As long as you stay true to your tastes you won’t go wrong.

Original, is the original. Gotta respect the history and what it represents BUT Hulk is the better looking watch out of the three. My opinion of course. Used to own Kermit too.

Of the 3 watches I prefer the Omega Seamaster that you are wearing, it’s gorgeous!

This is a very interesting comparison. I've never had these pieces in my hands, so I cannot say which one is my favorite. But to my eyes the old Kermit is the best proportioned of the three.

Absolutely agree on the analysis. People hyped up Hulk too much, I personally never thought it as much classy as the Kermits. The new Kermit (Or the Starbucks, I think it is more accurate to describe the color) is the most beautiful of them all, and to complement that with the upgraded movement, it's a clear winner.

The Hulk is the better looking watch.

Great videos, managed to buy a hulk just before discontinuing the model as a investment to sell on But having owned and worn it I’d have to really have to need to sell it to part with it . The Hulk is a watch that has presence yet is completely comfortable to wear , I love it.

I think that shade of Green is pretty easy to combine. I can see myself wearing the "New Kermit" as an every day watch. It goes well with all neutral colors I wear (black, white, brown, grey etc.). But I also don't think I would have a problem combining it with blue. Sure, it can look a bit wacky with warmer colors if you do not want to look like a tropical bird. But I am guessing few people wearing these watches are wearing bright orange or pink. And if they do, it would not even clash. You just need the style and personality to pull it off. And people confidently wearing bright orange and pink might just be able to.

i totally agree with you. OG Kermit and then new Kermit, which I picked up from my AD in October. New Kermit is awesome and fabulous with new power reserve. AD offered me Hulk multiple times over the years and as late as this past August. I said no each time. 116610 fat lugs and green dial did not do it for me at all. You ought to do this same video with your seamaster 300, the flat dial ceramic, and the OG bond 2531.80.

I find the Hulk with more personality and something of its own, and special to own. It is the one and only LV with a beautiful sunburst dial.

In late May I purchased the Starbucks new from my AD caliber 3235 then this week I get a call for the new Kermit V2 May-June 2023 release caLiber 3235 bth new and the same but Kermit V2 has a lighter green ceramic bezel. Lucky me.

I agree, I've never liked the aesthetics of the Hulk - I passed on the opportunity to buy one in 2015 and instead opted for the 114060. I never regretted the decision.

What size is your wrist, if you don't mind my asking. Mine is 6.75-7" and was wondering if the new SMP would wear too big...

I bought a Hulk LV Bezel for my 116610LN watch new from an AD! So now I have both the traditional Black & Green variations at my disposal with the same watch! Costs some real cash for the LV Bezel, but it’s worth it in my opinion, without having to upgrade to a Cermit/Starbucks…

The original is by far the classiest!! The hulk is fine with me.

The Hulk is my pick and the most interesting by far as Rolex is usually seen as conservative. Most people who know Rolex but don't know much about watches can't believe my Hulk is a real rolex. Also I love how the dial changes in the light while black is just...black. It can go from bright green to grey to black depending on lighting scenarios and I actually find it plenty versatile. I can proudly say I loved it before it was hyped...unfortunately couldn't buy it until the hype was quite a bit higher, but still extremely happy with it. Was between that and the batman. Would also love a batman someday

I have a hulk and wouldn’t want the other two. I wear it almost everyday and fits fine with any outfit or occasion. I love the super case too, and prefer the bracelet over the delicate bracelet of the Kermit, and the proportions over the slimmer lugs and wider bracelet of the new Kermit.

Hulk is my favourite sub of all time, would be the first watch I’d pick out of these 3. Find your choices interesting

Or, if you don't have or want to spend that much money on a green watch: the Alpinist SARB017 is quite green as well. I bought that one and a Guzzi with the money saved. Happy on two fronts!

Cool comparison video but I totally disagree. I fell in love with the beautiful green gold dial of the Hulk since it came out and bought one. I would like to upgrade to the new movement, but the change in dimensions in combination with the standard black dial just makes it boring in my opinion.

Awesome video. It’s weird... I thought the new Kermit was bland but since I got one (retail) I’ve fallen hard for it! 💚 The case and bracelet really changes how it fits on the wrist and the more mature refined black dial with green bezel is also special.

My favourite Rolex is the explorer 39mm short hands ,next is the 2010 sea dweller, but now I’m a huge fan of the Steinharts ocean 1.

Hulk is by far the most interesting and dynamic dial. You can keep your boring black dials that never play with the light :)

I have the original Kermit which got in 2009. Wasn't sure at first about buying it, but glad I did.

I picked out an SD 43, and then got the new kermit from an AD which was a major surprise, and I prefer the new Kermit. The green just pops, it's a stunning watch.

I agree with your conclusion that the Hulk is not in the same league as the old or new Kermit. In fact, the green dial makes it unique and puts it in a much higher class than the Kermits.

I'd have the kermit with the aluminum bezel. I love the depth and sheen to the aluminum.

All Beautiful watches. I like the og kermit if I had to chose one. Although if you have the money for more than one. The hulk would be interesting to own as a standout watch if you like that sort of thing.

How times have changed. I literally walked into an AD I've never been to today and was offered the Starbucks.

Hulk > Kermit ..................................... > Cermit. I like the hulk because of the uniqueness. In a world full of black and white dial watches, a green, radiant burst dial is fantastic. If you spend that kind of money on a watch, it should look special. The hulk does. I love the Kermit. I really enjoy vintage looking watches and the kermit fits that bill. Looks great and functions great with a vintage vibe. The Cermit, to me isn't a winner. It's like when a car company re-releases a popular car from their past. It never captures the original feel. To me, it's just a sub with a green bezel and I'd take the classic black in that case any day.

Very pretty watches. Can’t wait to try them on at my local mall watch store. Guessing will buy the one with the biggest % off msrp.
