Love the back and forth and refreshing hearing a couple of older watch heads. These guys are not RU-vid watch reviewers or grey market dealers who only care about watches with big price tags. Just a couple of watch enthusiasts.
A lot of people that likes cars likes watches and this guy said exactly what I love about both, I love mechanical things, several moving parts working in unison is just so satisfying, I landed on this video because I got my first Panerai (PAM00915) and man o man I love it so much, I have several Rolexes and Cartier but I was getting a bit bored, Panerai is so different and refreshing.
Nce vido with the interaction. I had a Tudor bb41 heritage and when I purchased a bb reverse panda I sold my burgundy dial but kept the strap for my chrono and love it on that worn strap.
Nothing cheap about this dudes collection, if you had just those watches he showed that is a prime collection. I wear a PAM176 on the daily so I appreciate his taste.
Hey man, really cool video and very interesting discussion!! I have a question, is possible to know the brand of the strap on the vintage submariner? 2:57 That would be very appreciated! Keep it up man
Just a note on the BBPro for anyone on the fence about the thickness, its actually slightly thinner than the BB GMT, it's just that the lugs are shorter which makes it look like it sits taller on the wrist. Ive got a 6 3/4 inch wrist and it wears fine with the T fit bracelet. If your friend had it on a nato or the rubber then that may be where he had a problem. I LOVE the look of the opaline dial GMT but the lug to lug is too large for me.
I really like the style of the video and the causal watch talk. I just wish you guys check up a few things before wrongly inform about things. That kinda ruins the whole video.
@@daveblack9105 He says the Black Bay Pro is thicker than the Black Bay 41 GMT “Pepsi” (They have the same thickness). Claims it to be 15.8mm😂. Extra embarrassing that he says; “If the Pro have had the same thickness as the Pepsi, I’d still keep it” - and they are…. So go figure… 🥳
If one can't afford a Rolex, please don't fall for their second-class copycat, Tudor. Go for an original brand. Any of them. Tudor is a cheap cover band.
In terms of a finding a birth year 1976 Cartier, yes I think that would be obscure. And also, I think a lot of 70’s Cartier would be rather small by today’s standard. But…I love Cartier
