if you are going to own one watch I would say buy a Rolex Explorer or a steel sub. More than one, then Brietling and Rolex work great in any collection. Between the two you will check all the boxes for having an awesome watch collection. Everything else becomes a matter of preference or opinion. spend what you want, wear what you want, for whatever reason you want. A WATCH IS A BEAUTIFUL THING

Strange there is no mention of the Navitimer but they show a shot of one at the end. Practically any Rolex looks like a toy on my 21cm wrist. Love my 46mm Navitimer.

I love my 48 mm super avenger ll,also very pleased with the chronograph 44 from 2016,both absolutely stunning watching,eye catchers,got lot of compliments for the both of them. The very last line of Breitling watches has become somehow feminine or gender fluid in my opinion,not really a fan of it!

Talking about divers watches I would include de Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean instead of the omega you choose. Additionally it should have included the Panerai submersible or at least the luminor. This comparison was made for the Rolex to win. You choose the most iconic watch of one of the most famous brands in the world and compared against others entry level brands watches. Sugestión, compare the most iconic watches of the most famous brands (Rolex Submariner Vs. Breitling Navitimer 01 Vs. Omega Moon Watch Vs. Hublot Big Bang Ceramic Vs. Panerai Luminor Marina, and maybe include an IWC as well) I would leave out the AP and Patek due to the price range.

Not really. Breitling watches are overpriced for what they are. Mostly all lose value by 70% if you buy them brand new. If you want to buy one without haemorrhaging your money get a pre-owned one at a good deal. Rolex is an investment.

@@lancedsouza1547Of course pre-owned saves you money. Did you read my post? Only a mug pays £11/13k for a pre-owned steel sub that retails at £9k! Particularly when you have an Avenger b01 for half that - £6k. The sub is not a £6k better watch or are you going to tell me it is? I have several breitlings haven't lost 70% on any of them. One of my first bought in the noughties, a now discontinued model has lost about £500. Do tell me which models lose 70%?

If my memory serves me right their is only one part in their watches that Rolex does not make themselves and that is the mainspring! I believe what you are confusing is Breitling and Tudor working together movement wise. All the best.

Breitling SuperOcean is amazing. It is actually better made with a screw down bezel and so forth.. I also prefer Breitling sapphire treatment. It is the best in the business. I own a Sea Dweller and love it. It is the best Rolex ever made imo. But when you assess what you get for the money, Breitling is the far better choice. Both excellent pieces tho.

Absolute rubbish, you can buy a Breitling B01 chronograph for approx £6k which is just as good as the massively inflated price of a Daytona

@@ashleychambers7602 The £4.5k Tudor Chronograph has the same movement (actually slightly improved). The Breitling line up is littered with low specs v cost. Generic movements 2 year warranties 38 hour power reserves Extortionately priced quartz watches Do you at least agree on the servicing cost difference with Rolex? Am not a Daytona fan, but would easily rather buy one than a Breitling, regardless of cost. 'Just as good as a Daytona' is a bit of a stretch. Is the Tudor just as good too then? I am happy enough with the Tudor though, even with the rough feeling Breitling B01 inside it.

@@tortellofer I have not really heard much said about its movement being super special (I agree its a good movement) but like I said, an improved version is in my Tudor, and its not smooth to use. The BO1 does not negate any of my other points. I love that Breitling invented the modern day chronograph crown/pusher design, and fantastic if you love the brand ;)

Rolex and their elitist marketing and belief that even though you buy the watch they still should be able to stop you selling on the Grey market finished any interest I had in Rolex. The RU-vid Rolex fan boys come across as immature and over sell the product only out done by “collectors”.
