The Ranger Elite wad is the best I've used with my #4 buckshot for coyotes. I'm getting about a 15" pattern at 50yds from my M1 Benelli Super 90 with my buckshot choke. When I made the choke, it shot some old Remington #0 buckshot unbelievably tight putting all pellets in a sheet of notebook paper at 50yds. I thought I had made "The Buckshot Tube" but it only shot mediocre to good with newly manufactured buckshot and of course I only had a few of the old Remington shells which I shot in pattern testing. When I started pattern testing some #4 buckshot loads, I loaded to coyote hunt with, I remembered the choke I had made that shot so well with the #0 buck and I tried it with the #4's and holly smokes what a pattern. Now that you have shared this load which seems to be really close to the old #0 buck Remington loads, I've just got to try it with this tube. The tube loved #0 buck and #4 buck with the Ranger Elite so it seems logical that it might perform well with this load of yours. Not to mention I really like #0 buck for larger quarry. Thanks for sharing this load with your followers! I appreciate it!
round about what's Mr. Kalwas charging per hull these days? I'm interested in trying the Remington express 3" and 3.5" and was just curious about the ball park figures before bothering him.
