A company I worked for had a couple of brand new Mercedes actros tractors and one was pulling timber out of Tilbury docks for Avonmouth when he caught the kerb near dock and pulled the trailer and tractor over.. the driver phoned the owner and said I’ve had a bit of an accident, the owner asked what’s he done and his reply was “I’ve broken the mirror!” The owner asked how and he said “the trucks led on it” 😂😂😂. Truck was taken back to yard and the driver collected his things in the evening despite the owner saying he wouldn’t be sacked for it! Nothing like a sense of humour after causing thousands of pounds of damage!!😂

My mate had one go over on opencast coal site leading up to coal screens whilst tipping,he ended up in passenger footwell,boss came up took him down site office,(he thought he was getting sacked),made him a cup of sugary tea,when he had finished it he handed him keys for another 8 wheeler,& said" just take that one & crack on",he said he could hardly drink the tea for his teeth chattering on the mug with delayed shock 🤣🤣🤣

Just found your vlog and loved it. Beneath that exterior you put on is a good Mechanic but you make it fun. Just as an aside to Pill Sharks comment. Two of us were putting a new Portlight ( Porthole) in a Ship and the about 4 Cabins away, the Ceiling caught fire and as we were running to the Gate house to alert the Fire Brigade, the Head Foreman came up and said " how's it going Lads" " Champion said my mate but there is a small problem" " What's that said the Foreman" " The Ships ablaze" said my Mate.The Foreman nearly passed out. Luckily it was just a small blaze and we got it out in no time. Work is sometimes good fun isn't it.😂😂

Hi Chris. I did watched your SCANIA video Nice channel you got , very good entertainment c. We have repaired that kind of damaged before , chassis 99% bent and cab probably repairable depending on price of new one is is worth to repair. Best to inspect cab before then make decision . If new cab I think more less £20 for bear cab plastics and rest of parts + chassis strip + repair. I think you won't get much change of £40k repairing that truck and 100-150 hours job. Hope that help my friend, keep videos coming and take care .e
