Rollei 35 LED with Fujicolor C200 RESULTS!

I just finished the roll of Fujicolor C200 which I bought for 1 euro. The Rollei performed again as expected. It is such a great little quality viewfinder camera! Eventhough I primarily shoot black & white, I was impressed with the results, mainly due to a good quality sharp lens with nice contrast. I will certainly use the Rollei 35 LED again soon, next time preferably with a Kodak Portra 400. I scanned the negatives with my old and trusty Epson Perfection 3170... eventhough it is slow and post processed the images in Lightroom. ENJOY!

Excellent quality, I have bought the Rollei B35, it has the same Triotar lens as yours but I have had no good weather to use it yet. Would the Tessar version on the 35TE be any better in everyday use ?

Thanks, good question. My honest answer, I do not know. But, if I get my hands on a Tessar, I will surely make a comparison video!

To be honest, there is not yet one single website dedicated to these types of camera's that give enough in-depth information. Therefor I search the web on specific camera's. You can find alot on Wikipedia and Kenrockwell.com also offers alot! Thanks for your question and good luck!

Through the last few days I’ve been trying some B&W photography and, as an amateur, I’m still struggling to understand the process of shooting B&W instead of colour. Although I do not have a fixed style or something like that, I do feel more comfortable with colours. Seeing that you can master both, would you mind to share some thoughts about both ways of seeing things and, henceforth, shooting? P.S.: I’m astonished about the first pictures and its colours. Thank you! I am planning to make a video about how I personally see B&W and color compositions. That is not easy to put into words, but there are a view "ground rules". Mostly, if you see an interesting composition you will know it right away. I will not immediately take the photo, but take my time to have a critical look to see if I can make an even better composition. It then still occurs that I walk away without taking the photo. I too was suprised by the C200 colors, much better than I initially expected. In the meantime I will give your composition question some serious thought! Thanks!
