These are great results! I've used the pre-2012 Adox CHS films (100 and 50) and thought them excellent! I've shot a box of CHS 100 II in 4x5 and loved it. I have four rolls of CHS 100 II waiting for a review later this year. After seeing your results, I'm looking forward to shooting them! And I do have some FX-39 II for processing! (Great Developer). I think the reason it's not used much is that it can be hard for us in North America to get our hands on the stuff. It takes 1-2 months to get some in from Fotoimpex and N.A. resellers are constantly low on stock. Looking forward to more of your videos!
What's the trick with CHS 100 II in order to load it onto the patterson tank spool? I've shot three and they all get jammed/gummed up while trying to load onto the spool. It's a regular patterson tank. And, the last time, I made sure my spool was super clean and bone dry, and the humidity was low, but it still jammed up. It's such a beautiful film though, at least the first two thirds of the roll that I was able to develop! Thanks, great video and neat photos!
Hi Jeff, that's a good question. I have also had those issues. I tried rounding the corners, that doesn't work. I cut the film at a square 90 degrees, which went better. I also rolled the beginning of the film the other way around... Let's say the first 5 centimeters. This helped out most to prevent your film from "biting" into the plastic reel. But even so, it is a challenging film to spool. Good Luck!

The Rollei has a very limited and simplistic zone focussing scale. I shot primarily at apertures of f8 or f11 and either estimated the distance or shot at infinity. So it was based on my own zone focussing perception, so to say...
Heyho, i know this video is a bit older but i wanted to tell you that the machine to produce the midrange format is broken. They told me they will try to fix the machine till mid of the year. Lets hope they can make it worke again.
