Good video!! I have always wondered if the pigeon I caught is male or female, now I think I can distinguish them well. (Female pigeons look less aggresive, and more tidy(?) than male in this video. Lol)
Sam Smitty was up brother I was wondering how you guys get your birds race what are the tricks or techniques into doing so ? I have a couple of homing pigeons that fly near my home but I could never get them to race or roll I have Birmingham rollers, homers, and my old German owl pigeons which I'm sure are just for show...
I can’t tell the difference even when he points it out.... I have a roller pigeon and can’t tell it’s sex Oh well, I’m not using it for breeding, so the sex doesn’t really matter.... it’s just a pet for me
I need help with my German owl pigeons they pick at each other allot can that also indicate the same sex? One bird is smaller then the other even different color feet ?
My bird has Lost her feathers on her neck and shoulder area he or she is a recue. Anything you can advise to have them grow back or heal. It's down to the skin .
Our pigeon had their second set of babies. FIrst pair is fine, the second pair died after 11 days old. About two weeks after he is no where to be seen. He's been gone fsince and today the female just laid another egg but seems uninterested in the egg. Is it normal for the male to leave? Will the female continue to incubate the egg without the male present any longer?
I am south Florida and I breed some parrots. About 2-3 weeks an injured pigeon come to eat the wast from my parrots. I trap it and treat the injuries that appear come from a Hawk. I went to the pet store tall me that was a female and the the store owner sold me a white pigeon to pair the other one with. Here is my problem the pigeon that was injured keep fighting the white one like it was 2 males. To the point that the white is running and flying from the fight. Is that normal after 1 week?
Hi, I have a roller pigeon who performs really well and i would like to breed him but his eyes are different colors. If i breed him, will the youngsters have different colored eyes? Are the chances of that happening high? One eye is yellow and the other darker red almost black. Thanks!
Michael Moua I got wiped out by the BOP early in the year I have some squeakers coming out now as soon as I have them going I will post videos thank for asking
U can differentiate Male and female pigeon only only after it completes all the 10 primary feather or when it becomes 6 month old..in some cases u differentiate...when its chick..u cant identify male or female.either u have to go for DNA or have wait for 4 to 6months
Your treating the pigeons very bad, what if someone did that to you? I have pigeons and mine are very happy and they love me, i dont aggresively take them
No not really if they’re young birds that’s pretty common they were fertile one egg and one unfertile you can from the feathers close to the vents where the poop from that will help
I don’t generally shepherds out of the country but if you can take care of all of the arrangements I will definitely see what we can do email me at theRollerpigeonevolution@gmail.com
Well there are many different reasons why I could be there age maybe they’re too young or too old I could also be there diet and your lloft set up Their nesting material
Israel Garcia Yes, it's possible. If you have some feeder pairs, you can give the eggs to those pairs to get more babies. That is what I'm doing right now to get more babies out of two pairs.
Sanchez Loft would love to my Birds got hit early this year by the BOP as soon as I have a group ready I will post video just getting my squeakers out of the nest now
Yes your mails will cool for a longer period and turn in a circular pattern the females when they cool their chest does not blow up as large as a mail and they do it for a very short period of time there is less based in a females cool then the mail
PIGEONS DESPERATELY NEED HELP !! 90% of pigeons in cities die in their first year of their lifes. The others don't live longer than 2-3 years. In nature, they can live up to 12-15 years ! They have nothing to eat, they are forced to eat trash and they freeze to death. Pigeons can NOT live naturally in cities. They are only here because of breeders !!
