Rollers always make me feel relaxed! I go to a hair salon that does rollers! They left me with them in for 2 hours with a blow dryer on top of my head. I felt relaxed! I had these in (tension rollers.) I loved the way they make you feel! I walked out of my salon feelings BEAUTIFUL!
It's funny how easy this process was when a lot of hairstylist don't like doing natural hair because it's "too much". Maybe I should send them this video lol
Lol' This brings back memories of my German mom doing my hair, I am biracial and she had really no idea other than doing ponytails in our hair. On our Church Christening, all three of us girls, she wanted to define our already long to our butt thick head of curls so she bought those little pink rollers and went to work, the claim is that she used over 300 of those little rollers on each of us It took her several hours to get it done but wanted us to be pretty for Church with hair and our little white dresses. Come Sunday morning, Bless her heart, when she took them out little did she know they would shrink up our hair and make some crazy tight curls. We went to church with about a foot and half wide set of curls on our little heads. The pictures are hanging on the entrance wall and we all get a laugh when we see them.
Very nice style but what was the point of the roller set if the hair was gonna be flat ironed and curled? Does that method add body or volume to the hair or something?
@@keitumetsebaaitse270 There is a point. Typically you would have to use a blow dryer and brush to smooth out the hair before straightening or curling. By using the rollers, you can smooth the hair without the heat from the blow dryer-- therefore you are using one less step of heat.
Great job ! My daugter and I were laughing about the lady in under the dryer we had on the same Christmas pajama pants this morning thats crazy lol Anyway continue to have a blessed one
I need u in my neighborhood because let me tell you these ladies don't know how to do a silk press on my hair so I've been on my curly journey for a year now
I bought these rollers and pins on your website. When you say to use tension while roller setting what do you mean :D ? Your work Is always flawless I hope I will one day get the opportunity to sit in your chair one day.
Donna Tembo pull as tightly as you can when wrapping your hair around the roller (not that it should hurt your scalp, just so the hair isn’t loose around the roller). That’s the key to getting to as straight as possible with the roller set.
T kay I am aware of that but if they’re interested in who she is they can go to her page and compliment her directly and may even be able to set an appointment I have been following her here on RU-vid for a while and I see you post a lot of her work
Studio Techilo what?!?!? are you setting up another studio in NC? Or relocating from GA to NC? I’m in Greensboro and I’ve purchased two sets of blue rollers. I’m sooo excited 😊
I love all the videos this lady does with the hair I just hope that she takes that blue aqua blue brush and literally soaks it in hot water before she uses it on the next client cuz I've been noticing it's the same brush
jzzyj0123 I’d rather take the rollers than a blow dryer any day. You’re not going to get sleek hair like that with just the rollers or blow drying “alone”. The rollers make it bouncy and flowy with body. Man ya’all act like it’s YOUR hair. If the client has issue with whatever heat that’s applied, I’m sure she wouldn’t be PAYING someone to do that to her hair. Obviously, her clients don’t care and they keep coming back to her which says a lot. Why don’t ya’all make videos of how you do YOUR HAIR and let’s see people criticizing ya’all for a change. I’m positive many of you will be criticized just the same, if not worse. It’s always the ones who complain about how others do things and then when you find out how THEY do it... you’re like WTF?!
