This video is for replacing broken bead chain not for repairing broken bead chain.

Nope. This is for a specific model which allows for removal of the gear cover. In most, the gear, clutch, and gear cover are one piece.

exactly. on my case you can not install the chain like that, you have to actually cut the chain and use a little piece of metal to kee it together .

Useless. How many have exposed teeth like that when they are an integrated unit with a cover.

I can’t take the shade off without “rolling out” the whole shade and if so how do I roll it back. Do you have a video on that?

I have not repaired broken strings on this type of shade so I can’t really help. But I have repaired many broken strings on mini blinds. Sorry I’m not more help! But thanks for watching!
